Hello and welcome, lovely people of KA! Y'all really turned this into a whole blog jsjsjs firstly let me apologize that this took so long. Life got hectic and I never finished answering all the questions, but it's finally done! Big thank you to everyone who was kind enough to leave questions and let's get into it!

1. what's your favourite drama and your favourite current one if you're watching something?

My all time favorite has to be either Arthdal Chronicles (especially now that a second season is in works) or Kill Me, Heal Me. I'm currently watching Vincenzo and I'm absolutely IN LOVE with it. Like literally I watch the episodes as soon as they come out because I'm always so impatient for them and it's been a real while since I've felt that way about a drama. It's truly a gem from the acting to the plot to the execution!

Edit: I took too long to post this so Vincenzo is over and I still absolutely love it but I'm currently watching Doom at your service and Sell your haunted house.

3. do you have any character you find the most comfort in or can relate to the most?

I tend to close myself off a lot and keep a tiny circle, it's just my thing, it's not easy for me to get close to people but once I'm comfortable with someone I'll be telling them every little thing, so I'll say Eunseob aka Seo Kangjoon from When the weather is fine, I don't find comfort in him no, he's too similar to my own self but I definitely relate. I'm sure you can tell how much of a frustrating person I am to get close to based on that. The one thing that's different though is that I try to hide it by being overly nice and bright, because then hopefully people won't notice that I'm actually weird lol

some editings tips? mainly for kinda beginners like me ksjs

I use Photoshop to edit and tbh there are sooo many things I can do with it that I could never do on other apps like ibis, so for me it's really about the tool. But also it's about finding your style. At first, I'd probably suggest to find editors you look up to and try to create in their style, ofc I don't mean to copy, but to take inspiration from them until you find what works for you. But as for editing itself my own process I have a pretty basic one which goes like -> finding a png with colors I like -> making a background/finding a texture to match the png -> adding the rest aka random pngs to fill up negative space -> psd if needed -> final filters and corrections. some of your favourite edits or blogs you did so far?

To be very honest, I don't usually re-read my own blogs because I always find them so cringy but if I had to pick a favorite blog it would be here.

is there any blog idea you wish you would do one day? or an idea you wish you could do, but seems impossible?

This is actually something I've done before on a another amino but I wish I could do the 100 biases blog again where I'd talk about a hundred of my fav idols since I'm sure by now there must be some changes in my bias list, but I it taking so long so I doubt I'll currently have the time to do it.

is there a group you wish you could stan again? like going through the stanning progress again? that's pretty confusing i guess,but i mean for example i don't how i got into uniq but i would definitly want to relive this time again.

Definitely BTS, they were my one and only ults for 4 years before victon came along and I barely keep up with them anymore, mostly because their current style of music is not really my cup of tea, so I'd definitely want to experience the times when I used to stay up for their releases again. To clarify though, it's not that I'm against them changing or anything, in fact change is good for any artist, but sadly their present music is not my style so I barely listen to it although I still love the boys.

I really wanna know what made you decide to come back on ka, but it may be a little too personal so I'll just ask if you have any plans for the summer?

I won't go into much details about this but I came to know that my leaving was, for a big part, because of misunderstandings so I came back once they were resolved, and for another part, it was because I messed up that time lol but we love second chances. Also it's actually winter here (my country only has two seasons) and as always my introverted self plans to stay home and watch streams and kdramas!

Ngl I was actually kinda scared of you when I first ed cause you seemed like one of those cool kids, difficult to interact with- little did I know we'd have this never ending conversation and that you'd become the person I'd turn to for anything I need to share lmao. I really ire your work ethic though like all the hard work?? The dedication to the team??? You do so much pls. Also we seem to have the same opinions on several things so that's a big plus too. You're amazing, or something, uhm.

what is one thing you learned after being a mod that you didnt know before?

I've been a mod in another community before so I'm not completely new to the "darker side" of amino but the way people perceive and react to us here is definitely different. So I think I really learned about and got to experience how people view you differently just because you have the title of mod, both in good and bad ways.

name a kpop idol you wanna be besties with and why

Probably Seungyoun aka Woodz because he has the energy of like a thousand people and this really bright personality, spreading the kind of positivity I'd love to have around me!

do you ever just listen to the instrumentals of kpop without the voices?

Actually no- Vocals are the highlight of songs for me and ofc instrumentals are really really important too but I feel like I'd get lost halfway just listening to instrumentals sjjsjs

how are you balancing moderating vs normal team/ka activities?

Honestly I think as long as you enjoy doing something and truly want to do it, you end up naturally doing it even if it's a lot. Like I wake up in the morning, check my phone on autopilot while half alseep and get some moderation done without realizing I'm even going out of my routine. Of course workload has really increased but I just try to switch between blogging or editing or something and moderating throughout the day. I say that but I've been prioritizing though, I've left pretty much every unofficial team I was in except for the one I lead aka alice team. I definitely post less blogs than before though.

what is one language you really wanna learn and why

This is gonna be very basic but Korean lmao because I want to finally be able to watch my kdramas without subs. Like I can, I'll probably understand like half of it but it's not the same as actually knowing the language but also I think it's a beautiful language, even if I wasn't into kpop, I think it's the kind of language I'd be really interested in.

Yeee I have a tiny collection of about 35 (it's still lockdown so can't buy any for now :<) but I love the BTS - Love yourself album because the holo colors are soooo pretty and then there's Junoflo - Statues which I love for the textured cover and the golden text 🥺

Tbh I haven't eaten much of either but I'd say apple 🤔

name a place you really wanna visit but have never been to before!!

I've actually never set foot outside of my country so there are a lot of places I want to visit but I'd say either Singapore or Greenland.

what was your first impression of the mod team when you were a new ka member?

I didn't even know what a mod team was at that point jsjsjjs and I don't really who were mods like 4 years ago but I think my first interaction with them was when I applied for and got into the official great guys team. I Tia though and how she seemed like this person in a high place I could never reach lmao I never thought I'd be a leader one day, but even then she was a really down to earth person.

the funniest memory you have on ka?

That'll be the time I got drunk and spread chaos and somehow the whole of ka got to know about it and they'll never let me live it down I swear it was as embarrassing as it was funny lmao

what is one kpop song you think anyone, upon recommendation, would like no matter who they are?

I'd say BTS' Save Me, I feel like it's a song many people like even if they aren't into Kpop, even my mom likes it.

where does your inspiration for writing your stunning blogs come from?

First of all, you're the stunning one and second for me it's mostly from events like if there is a birthday or something I'd want to make a blog for it but also from everyday events, my moods, etc, although lately my blogs have just been team blogs jsjsh

as a blogist, what is the one (1) thing you would like to tell everyone who's trying to improve their blogging?

Don't compare your blogs with others. I have seen sooo many bloggers saying that they lose motivation seeing others' blogs because they think they'll never reach that level but in truth, there aren't really any levels, it's just that we're all at different progress points. I started with writing really really cringy blogs too, but over the years, I improved. Yes years, it didn't take me a day and I, too, compared myself with others a lot but I've learnt not to do that anymore. Once you find your own style it will be much easier so keep doing it and blog for yourself, for the happiness that it gives you rather than for recognition and all that, it makes the experience so much better. I think that was more than one thing sjsjjs

any idols / artists who had a huge impact on you and made you YOU?

Junoflo? He's a rapper from the khh scene but he's always been very real to his music. I think he's influenced me a lot in of career choice especially, because at one point I was contemplating between something I'd like more or something that pays more. In that sense he encouraged me to go for what I'd like to do by the way he flew to S Korea with no back-up plan and simply threw himself into the music he wanted to make. It's not easy to describe in only a paragraph but he's had a tough journey full of uncertainties, something that I've been quite afraid of undertaking. I know this might sound weird, but it's not like I saw my idol do something so I just went crazy fan mode saying I'd do the same thing, no, I had to consider every option in a realistic context but I'm just saying that he's inspired me a lot.

any western artists you enjoy listening to?

Tbh I mostly listen to Kpop, but the first western artists that come to mind would be Post Malone, Corpse, Blackbear and Tate McRae. I would say Lil Nas X because I've really enjoyed his music but I haven't looked into what's been going on with him lately so let's keep him at the side for now. Oh and these songs that Syk got me hooked on.

if you could only give your love and money to one (1) idol for the rest of your life, who would it be?

You probably guessed, it'd be Seungwoo owo no doubt about that, he's my ult and very much the centre of my Kpop world so definitely Snoo.

How did u find out bout victon?

I've known them for quite a while but I don't know why I never bothered to look into them and actually listen to their music, I think Eyez Eyez was their only song that I knew and I didn't like it so I didn't go further. But it's only early last year while doing a review for rankers that I checked out this video and had my world thrown upside down by one Han seungwoo.

How do u get inspiration for editing?

To be very honest- I don't. Like whenever I need to make an edit I find a png and start making up stuff until I get something that's at least half decent. I never really start editing with an end product in mind I just go with the flow and lemme say that that's not good practice because I waste so much time re doing things but I guess that's just the messy way in which I work jsjsjs

what's ur fav song rn?

This song. But the funny thing is that the song annoyed me the first time I heard it, it's not my kind of genre or sound at all, yet I think it's been played so much that it grew on me.

describe your "epiphany" moment when you fell in love with sykkuwu

Are you sure you want to ask me that because I will go on a tangent- ok so it was a normal Saturday last year and Among us was starting to get the hype it has and I was just going about my day when my irls decided to try playing it so I searched up game plays on youtube because I had no idea what the game was about jshshs. The first video that popped up was a Corpse one and I was so intrigued by his voice ofc but there was also this other guy in the lobby- you know that shy one with the soft anime voice 🥴 I think that's the moment I fell in deep, I immediately checked him out and never turned back lmao. It was really just his voice but then I fell in love with his personality and literally everything about him. I relate to him on so many levels and he's just the positive, awkward yet interesting kind of person that I would love to have around so I end up watching his streams for hours and hours on.

what is one person on ka that you wish to be friends with, but haven't yet

I think I'm pretty much friends with everyone I've looked up to, but of course I'm always (awkward but) excited to make new friendships.

what is your fav blog (not by yourself) that you've read so far? why/how did it impact you so much?

I would link anyone of Rae's poetic blogs because they're simply gorgeous and I'm always always at the writings but she deleted her acc :( I also really loved this blog, although there are plenty of blogs from my friends that I adore.

is there any ka teams you want to /make but havent yet?

I think I'm already in the teams I want to be in. Newsletter seems like a fun place to be but I've been leaving teams lately because I don't have the time so :pensive:

Is being a curator something that changed how u view the community?

I think so, I've been exposed to a lot of issues that I wasn't aware of as a normal member, but I wouldn't say my view on the whole community has changed because my friends are still the same old besties but for sure some parts seem different now. But also public chats are different. I never used to public chats, but of course I ed once or twice and it was just people chatting not minding me but now I always either scare people when I or intimidate them but never really go unnoticed which can be both a good and bad thing.

How has curating been for you in general? And how do you manage it to fit in your daily life?

When I first started, I asked a lot of questions and I mean a LOT. I bothered sania so much lmao. But I learned as I went and it became easier along the way. There were a lot of times I doubted myself though, unsure whether I was taking the right action, but I had the amazing team to help me out. And honestly I haven't had actual class in while, and everything is online because of covid. I became a curator while it was complete lockdown so I had my full time to dedicate to the position. But now that I've fully settled in, I think it'll be easier to moderate while also handling other responsibilities.

What is your most fun experience here on ka?

It's everytime I manage to help someone, really. I'm not some kind of altruistic being or something, it's just about my own satisfaction and the joy I experience when I do something right as part of my job. But I could also name all the moments I spent laughing with friends.

How do you manage to always come up with such amazing edits? Where do you get your inspo? What would be the one tip you want to give to new editors here in the community?

So I kind of answered this above but for me it's mostly about starting the work and going with the flow. Like I could pick a theme, let's say spring, so I'll find related pngs like flowers, etc and then it just becomes a matter of arranging them into a structure I'm satisfied with, as well as adding effects and matching colors. Inspo comes from everywhere, be it a color palette I see, or just some edits from deviantart or pinterest, I usually link them in my edit blogs when I take inspo. As for a tip, I'd say to take inspiration from editors you like, don't copy but try to replicate styles and such until you get the hang of it yourself.

I'm not really the meeting people kind of person ksjshs like I've always struggled with bad anxiety. It's easy to hide it online where I can just talk to people without letting them know that I'm actually imploding from panic but it's much harder irl so meeting new people is always a tough decision for me as takes a lot of mental strength out of me but if I had to choose someone I'd say Sykkuno, he's a streamer who has taught me how being awkward and clumsy isn't always all that bad like he's given me so much strength I can't even explain plus I feel like we'd both be so awkward to the point where it wouldn't be awkward anymore- ok this got sO MUCH DEEPER THAN I INTENDED JDKDJDS so Carla when are we meeting to plan that riot against ben 🤩

Ah that's a tough question but to put it simply, it'd be being normal. There are a lot of things I experience because of certain mental health-related issues that normal people probably don't, I'd just want to spend one day not experiencing those.

My favorite albums are my faves mostly because of the musicality but for this question, I'll list the album the brings me the most warmth and comfort, which will be either Ash Island's Ash or Niahn's Extape.

I'm not very big on art stuff, I actually don't know much about it but I'll choose On the way to morning by Leonid Afremov or any of his paintings because the colors are always gorgeous. Simple reason, but once you see them I'm sure you'll get my point!

Fullmetal alchemist; brotherhood has been a fav for looong years but currently I'd say Demon slayer? I don't play as much as I used to before but I've always loved the Elder scrolls series. Also Valorant, but games never have servers near me so I have to go into every match with 200 ping, not fun :') I played a few competitive games last act and was like bronze or something but then I gave up because of the ping so now I mostly stay in unranked games.

are there any goals you want to achieve as a member/blogger/curator on ka?

Honestly, I just came here to make friends because I've never been one with a big circle of friends, especially irl I'm a really quiet person around strangers and I'd say I've achieved that goal but in the process of doing so I obtained so much more. Something I really want to do though is make KA more active but of course that's not happening by my solo effort so I'm trying to help the team in that aspect as much as I can. And tbh I barely have time to blog besides team ones so rn I'd say my goal would be to finally make a solo blog lmao

What is your favorite Sykkuno moment?

Ahhhh I have so many though :sob: I'll say the time he finally succeeded a bank hack after two failures and said that one line that was such an anime protagonist thing to say "your cheat code is back guys, sorry I made you wait so long". There's a whole lot of context behind that though, basically sykkuno and his team were trying to rob the biggest bank in the game (gta) and they had been planning for weeks to do it, and everything relied on sykkuno because if he failed the hack their weeks of hard work would be gone just like that, so it was just a game yes, but it was also the expectations of his team and viewers, it was a HUGE responsibility and pressure and no need to say how disappointed and affected he was when he messed it up twice (despite the guy who made the hack saying that it WASN'T even designed to be done by a single person) but he did it the third time and he did it grandly, he actually outdid the system and he was the only person in the whole server who did it by himself, it was a moment of glory.

There was also the rainbow road heist that had me immersed like I experienced it as if I was there with them getting away from a bank and the whole thing was just epic. But also when he painted his nails black. Or the time he was the killer in dead by daylight and went psycho mode on everyone. Or the time he randomly prayed to jesus mid valorant fight. Or all the "eh's". Or even the time he wore cat ears. OR THE 4-DIGIT SUIT. There are so many more tbh but I'll stop jsjsjs

How many hours of sleep do you get???? :rage:

jsyshdhdsjsjs I've been working on an assignment lately so it's less than usual but in normal times I try to get my full 8 hrs or I can't function :sob:

Anything that's comfortable to wear owo but when I go out you'll mostly see me in slim fit pants and a top

Why do you have to do this to me. Just why. FIRST OF ALL I love them both dearly but like in different ways. Seungwoo is this ideal figure to me, he seems so faraway and he's like that perfect individual I could never reach, although I know he's just as human as the rest of us. But Syk is someone I can relate to in a mundane way, he gives me soooo much strength because irl I'm just as clumsy and awakward as him and he really shows me that that's not such a bad thing after all so in that way I'll have to say Sykkuno jsjsjs

1. What's your favorite song to perform and why? (This is mostly because he always looks like he's having so much fun in every stage, I'm curious about the one he loves for himself)

What usually inspires you to make your blogs?

How did your blogging and editing journey begin?

It began with me trying to follow the cool people I found on KA when I ed so I started making my own blogs but of course they were really bad those times and my edits were simple pictures slapped on rectangle backgrounds.

How did you become so incredibly good at blogging and editing?

I wouldn't say I'm incredibly good jsjsjs but I've definitely improved with the practice of blogging for years because I spent hours and hours per day making blogs and editing but I think that as long as you're making content for yourself, that you truly enjoy making, it'll turn out amazing anyways!

Any advice you would give someone who wants to start editing but is really bad it? Do you think there's a possibility to still become a good editor?

I also answered these in Lea's and Miri's sections respectively but as for editing I think anyone can do it as long as you really apply yourself and keep editing, for example by trying to recreate designs you like, it'll end up becoming natural eventually. I also started with being really bad at it

Any advice you would give someone who wants to improve their writing style to make better blogs?

Reading helps a lot with writing style, but it depends on the specific type of style you're talking about, for example I personally love poetic writing styles so I try to read stuff with that style, well used to, I don't really find the time lately

How did ka change your life?

I have more reason to procrastinate :flushed: but I also found myself more confident in interacting with people, because when I first I would think 10 times before applying to something that required team work and now it's second nature to me, so I'm glad I got to experience this positive change

How does it feel to be a curator?

Well that would be leader now but it still doesn't feel real, I deal with moderation-related situations every hour of the day but honestly it still doesn't feel real- like this is a position I would never have seen myself in a few months ago but I'm also extremely grateful for it

8. Favourite drama and if you could recommend only one drama what would it be? :cloud:

Arthdal Chronicles and it's going to have a season 2 soon so I'm betting it'll stay my fav. I don't think it's a drama that everyone could easily enjoy though so I'd recommend Just between lovers? :flushed:

Honestly we haven't interacted that much so I can't really say on a personal basis but you seem like a really sweet person and you make great content owo

10. Not a question but I just wanted to tell you that you're really inspiring to me. I enjoy reading your blogs a lot and I don't think I have to talk about your edits because you're probably ka's editing queen 🥰.
