i was rewatching scenes between gerardo and fabio from 'donde hubo fuego' yesterday. a series which i absolutely recommened and i had to share a quote which fabio's mother told gerardo. you have to know that fabio came out when he was younger. he has known for a long time who he is while having fallen for gerardo. he's also the first person who somehow responds with the same feelings which is special for fabio. however, gerardo didn't come out yet. he's living his life thinking that he'll mary his current girlfriend, but then fabio comes along and changes everything. from the moment favio gave gera a knitted blanket gera knew how his feelings changed. anyway, focusing on the quote which is 'a closet is too dark of a place for someone as full of light as you to spend your life'. i've always loved his mother, but i was so thankful that she let gera know about this. he truly needs that and comforting words. this quote is so meaningful and beautiful. it's special. i love how the mother shared her message like this. i just can't stop thinking about this. considering how insecure gera felt in the beginning, he truly needed these words. i love how fabio lets gera know that he thinks he's special and now the mother lets him know that he should be himself in order not to get hurt. gera doesn't has that confident or thinks highly of himself, so he needsthat reassurance. i also like how she talks to gera in an understanding and calm way. especially considering when gera talks about how lucky fabio is to have a mother like her. however, she mentions that her son is lucky, because he always knew who he is. i find that so beautiful. honestly, let me continue to cry about how sweet and beautiful this is. the quote is so special and realistic. i wanted it somwhere where i can always see it ksjs :sob: :two_hearts: this is your sign to watch this
