《 boy group # 01 ⇀ Astro 》

Of course astro instantly came to mind. I've already said some things in this team blog, but to give a better view let's travel back in time. Moving back 5 years ago of 2016, 6 boys were introduced to the kpop industry...they were known as astro. Their debut Hide&Seek was the sole definition of cute and cheerful concept for a boy group. To the lyrics incorporating that even if you try to hide, you'll shine brighter than anyone else; you're the only one I see and love. Not only the lyrics but the choreography giving the definition of the song ties everything up perfectly. The little soldiers marching in a line move in the verses and the gestures of looking for someone in the chorus brings a smile to your face. Another example would be *sigh* Breathless with the appearance of weki meki's yoojung as the main character of the mv was the serotonin of happiness. Them being soda bottles with emotions was the most intriguing thing I've watched when the mv was released. And we can't forget about the :sparkles: DUCK :sparkles: Yoojung chose violence when she was swinging around the cooler with them inside :skull:

《 boy group # 02 ⇀ The Boyz 》

I'm taking this opportunity to talk about the best tbz song there is to ever exist. It's none other than Bloom Bloom. Two years ago in the year of 2019, April 28th came around and dropped this magical song to blessed our ears. The whole aesthetics of the mv was based around flowers (and baseball) which is also in the lyrics; you are the flower that blooms into my life and gives my world colors. Just look at this performance, it has everything I've ever imagined with the added flowers to the set, the adorable choreo of them popping up in the pre-chorus, the the THUMBNAIL! I don't think you guys know how much joy this song itself brings to me. All of the were so smiley especially hwall 🥺 bestie was literally shining on stage. And I don't trust anyone who doesn't bloom bloom pow out

《 boy group # 03 ⇀ NCT Dream 》

Hoverboards, bunch of minors where puberty hasn't hit them quite yet, the head bopping move in the chorus, use of pastel and pink, addictive chorus, and mark looking and sounding the same :hand: All that sums up to Chewing Gum, the grand debut of sm's newest nct unit consisting of young boys. Looking back at the music video, you could tell they were very young despite being a fan or not. Ahuge surprise for me was jeno's voice it was almost unrecognizable if it wasn't for him getting his screen time and singing his part. This is the king of bubblegum pop song that will get stuck in your head no matter how hard you try. The hairstyles brought back memories to 2016 hair trends and 6th grade memories for me. It always shocks me how much all 7 grew up from teen into legal adults in front of us that it doesn't completely load in my head.
