more hope for this album. i love bands so i knew
xdirnary heroes deserves another chance. and
you know what? they most certainly did!

it is not all wins in this house of course, the title
track imo is the weakest track of the album, i'm
not a big fan of test me. i wasn't also impressed
by strawberry cake and sucker punch when the
teaser reel was dropped. and sucker punch is
still weak for me, strawberry cake however did
surprise me positively! i actually enjoy it way
than i expected to!
now for the two tracks that i knew i'd love from
the teasers - knock down and pirates. knock
down is the track i would have loved to see as
the title track, it's intense, it's sensual and i am
a fan. this is the type of sound i think would
garner an audience for xdirnary heroes! aaand
pirates... 100% my favourite track off of this
album, it is so dramatic and sensual, it works
so well for them!
all in all, i'll have to call this album a solid 7/10
for me on first listen, we'll see if the ranking
changes! mayhaps i'll even stan them

They deserved a 2nd chance, there's no way I'd just ignore DAY6's younger brother band <3
I think I might already have a bias. I don't know their names, but there's one vocalist, whose tone I like a lot! Typically the first vocalist I notice is the main and I end up biasing them anyway so I think I can see how this will go ㅎㅎ

Definitely Jungsu! But I'm also watchung their live comeback showcase and Jooyeon is super stable live! Both his falsetto and power tone are great, he also lowkey sounds like Young K at times... So I'm super conflicted now :sob:

Jungsu is my bias 🥺🥺 and yesss Jooyeon is insane :flushed: I'm still blown away by his vocals in the Drown cover! His voice just fits rock songs so much

Perhaps I'll end up with a double bias situation like with DAY6 :speak_no_evil: I really like Jungsu's tone, it sounds really good in recordings and live as well! But I think I do prefer Jaeyoon live even more, he seems to have a more developed technique :') I'll have to see what their personalities are like!
