reason #1: point move

Starting of with an obvious one. I honestly think that not only is the finger-flick point move funny but it's also quite effective and in a way reflects the word "hit" well. It's also not overused in the choreo which I truly appreciate.

reason #2: line distribution

Seventeen has been at it again with the fair line distribution. It makes me quite proud how some e.g. Seungcheol and the main vocals have less lines and centre time so that all get the chance to shine. Seventeen doesn't need to use their main vocalists/rappers to gain more attention now so they don't have to make "safe" choices with their line distribution, yk. This makes the track very well balanced.

reason #3: amount of jeonghan

An effect of the previous reason which I TOTALLY LOVE. Like??? Three parts? Plus some centre time in the second verse? That's a lot of parts? I am so unbelievably proud, he's grown so confident and his stage presence has improved immensely. Not only to mention how hot he looks this cb, dear me.

reason #4: dino's part

This is my favourite part in the whole song musically speaking. The um's especially are so catchy and then there's also the choreo Which. Just. Fits. So. Well. Dino has always been a huge weak spot for me and this isn't helping at all.

reason #5: the "let me drop the 음악" part

I mean, I'm not saying I have a thing for necks but,,

When they manage to synchronise the neck roll thingy perfectly, I almost get chills, it's so smooth and powerful.

reason #6: wonu visuals

He's looking hot every comeback, yes, but there's just something about Wonu in suits that makes my heart skip a beat.

reason #7: suits w/o shirts

And while on the topic of suits, how dare they wear them shirtless,,, It's subtle, sophisticated and classy yet v sexy, a combination that works wonders for me at least.

reason #8: prechorus choreo

By this I mean the NCT "Boss" -kind of part? Idk how to explain it, the power stance one with the fists and the puffed-out chest. I think it's so random but goes great with the song part.

reason #9: 2nd chorus fanchant

While on the topic of random, this fanchant is also random. How on earth did they think it'd be a good idea? Who decided on leaving carats gasping for air with a craycray fanchant like this,,?

reason #10: shua during the bridge

His subtle smile, playful gaze, sharp hair part and soft vocals still manage to make me weak in the knees every time.

reason #11: vernon running like a buffalo

Even more random than the prechorus bit but then again it fits the lyrics, I suppose?

reason #12: jeongkwan moment

I nearly cried when I saw this for the first time. Firstly bc of Seungkwan and secondly bc Jeonghan gets so much screen time and I love it a lot.

reason #13: chankwan moment

One word: smooth.

reason #14: name fanchant

More over-the-top fanchants coming carats way, not only is it enough that we do their names in the correct order but now we have to do them backwards? What will we get next, I do wonder.

reason #15: hoshi

This man is just peaking, much like Jeonghan. His dancing looks impeccable even though I'm sure he's very tired and boy oh boy, the amount of stage presence is absolutely bonkers.

reason #16: the mv

I've always been more of a fan of aesthetically driven mvs rather than plot driven ones, and this mv is filled with random aesthetics. I especially love the Minghao-Jeonghan part of the second verse, such model material.

reason #17: throwback fanchant

I get quite emotional every time I hear this part. For those who haven't heard it, during the first post-chorus, the fanchant goes "영원히 아낀다 세븐틴/언제나 예쁘다 세븐틴/조하서 어쩌나 세븐틴/고맙다 세븐틴" so we have a reference to four different Seventeen songs (Adore U, Pretty U, Oh My! and Thanks). I feel so proud of them and things like this help me how much they've already achieved.
