‘恋の招き猫’ (koi no maneki Neko) is a transition from New Year Series to Valentine’s Day Series. 🥂 :wine_glass: :beers: 🍾 It consists of Blushy as the beckoning cat, a bowl of sekihan (azuki bean rice) and a complementary pair of chocolate-dipped half pearl earrings for you to mix and match :cat: :heart: :rice: :chocolate_bar: :strawberry: I made this using felt, fabric paint, acrylic pearls and gemstones, gold nail foils and gold-plated stainless steel earring blanks :crown: :key: 🛎 The character 恋 was painted using the tip of a needle, which took me 2 attempts for at least 30 minutes :scream_cat: :sweat_smile: 🤣 I swear I was going to pull my hair off :see_no_evil: :see_no_evil: :see_no_evil: Making this piece has been fun for me as I’m exploring the use of new materials :ribbon: :balloon: :gift: 🧧 What are some new things you’ve tried recently? :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
