Anytime a group of people come together and interact, there must be a code of conduct set in place to make that interaction go as smoothly and comfortably as possible.

Having etiquette enables of various lifestyles, backgrounds, and nationalities to gain equal enjoyment potential from the community.

When using only text to communicate with other people it becomes much harder to detect things such as sarcasm, jokes, and even seriousness.

This is why "Netiquette" is essential for all Communities.

“Netiquette” refers to rules of etiquette that apply to online communication.

Please, feel free to use any of the following suggestions for your community.

These are not rules, they are suggestions to help keep the community respectful and constructive.

Be Polite.

Always to say “Please” and “Thank you” when soliciting help from the community

Don't be a "troll".

Trolls intentionally incite annoyance or offense. They do not participate constructively in the discussion and do not add any value to the debate.

Turn off the "CAPS LOCK".

Writing in ALL CAPS is the equivalent of SHOUTING and can cause offence

Don't bully, harass or threaten other .

If another member offers an opinion that you don't agree with, you have no right to demand that they their position with a detailed argument. They do not have to respond to your questions. It is up to each individual to participate as much or as little as they wish.

Their job is to keep the community safe and constructive so that everybody gets to have their fair say. It is not always an easy job.

Be constructive.

It's okay to disagree with other , in fact we encourage debate, just keep the dialogue positive.

Always keep things civil.

We recognize that this can be difficult sometimes, especially when you are ionate about an issue, but it is important to keep the discussion focused on the issues rather than letting it deteriorate into personal insults.

Be forgiving.

If a member makes a mistake, don’t badger them for it. Just let it go – it happens to the best of us.
