This week's poll is about Event Teams
Personally, I have had communities with event teams and communities in which event teams didn't work, so I'm on the fence for this one.
Having an event team can be super helpful, as it takes the pressure off of the staff team and also allows ordinary of the community to put forward their views on what they believe will be a fun event.
However, the downside to this is that sometimes it can be difficult keeping an Event Team active so a lot of leaders end up taking on the overall responsibility anyways.
I think some people choose to do staff run events, as they trust their curators/leaders to run them and be active.

We technically do but it's inactive, so whenever there is an event it's either dome completely by staff or staff approved
We used to do a monthly event (art event cause it's an art community) with different themes that's up to the staff! It was pretty fun. It held up for years and I had fun hosting them ehehe
We once tried to do some event team, but it didn't get to be. I think I was the one in charge to open up applications and make a blog about it but it was around the time activity started decreasing so I guess I didn't fully made it because of it and we just stuck with the monthly staff event lol :0
I do not have a event team but I would like to have one when I have enough
