As s, we all do everything
we can to keep the community active

I dont have many and sll I do is keep streak so I can't keep it active due to only having 2 ;-;
Always try to have a community event running, usually a monthly thing. Keeping people talking in our main chat helps & luckily with our community being centered around wrestling, there are shows nearly everyday to talk about. Having an active moderation team that participates in chats/posts can contribute to more activity. Lastly, being a trendsetter as a leader is important but there's no formula to making a new trend, just gotta keep doing different things until one of them takes off
I run the Challenge Team in the community I lead. We host monthly challenges and additional events if there's a special occasion. This December and last December we hosted a gift-giving event (not Secret Santa) which has been amazing at keeping activity up!
We try to do fun and interactive events to get active. For example, we did a Secret Santa Event and had a lot of activity
I make sure to broadcast something daily, and that the broadcasts make sense. It's always posts, never chats.
Other than that, as many events as possible. And if the main chat has been silent for a few hours, I send a sticker that people can't just leave without commenting on it haha

i'm curious - why do you choose to broadcast posts exclusively?

Just my personal experience, clicking on a broadcast just to find myself in a chat with a bunch of people makes me less likely to click on any future broadcasts. If any other leader wants to broadcast chats, I'm not going to stop them, but I never had a good experience with that so I'm staying away from it

fair! i do think chat broadcasts are valid though, if they openly state that they're chat broadcasts. especially if chats are used for regular events, something many creative communities do :^). but i agree that deceptive broadcasts for chats are annoying
