Should an agent be lenient with weekly minutes if a staff member's reaction speed is fast?

This is something I've wondered about for a while. Because I have a pretty dead community with around 200 and the minute and point requirements just seem to be a struggle( I believe I asked 15 minutes and 5 points, if not 10 minutes and 5 points), but the staff I do have there reply pretty fast, so it's not like they're ghosting or whatever

[UPDATE]:

I've decided to drop the minutes for until the community is more active and start encouraging our team to feature chats, as well as take it upon myself to make sure there's something to do like making PSA's, hosting challenges etc

I think random attendance checks would be more helpful than a minute requirement in your situation. It still demonstrates that they’re active, and can also give you a decent idea of what their response times are like

This would require 24/7 service because the world doesn't exist in only one time zone.

It depends where s are located on Earth and differing individual schedules.

That's why you'd do, let's say, seven over the span on a week at different times and they'd be required to respond with an hour or three to, like, two

It’s not like an instant response would be expected or anything. More or less, it would just give you an idea of who’s lagging behind. Like if someone took a few days to reply to an attendance check

Contemporary Amino Apps is very different to several years ago.

Many have abandoned the platform or are seldom active.

Such time requirements have little to no validity with the vast shift in activity.

Leniency can easily be dismissed if such requirement is ceased in accordance with activity level.

ACM isn't showing minutes correctly, so you should be more lenient.

Sometimes there will be weeks where there is barely anything to moderate, but you should encourage your Curators to do things like featuring or disabling inactive chats!

Keep in mind that ACM is very buggy so their minutes might be stuck because of that.

Otherwise featuring public chats is a great way to get the mod points up too!

If they aren't slacking off when it comes to work then you should be lenient. Afterall, one can't force others to be active enough but you can always give them a reason to be. For example, assign them some work?
