The Imploder

The ‘Imploder’ is a special infected.

Their job is to shake up the survivors and do a bit of collateral damage. They are very quick and stealthy, like the Hunter. They can’t jump, but they can climb.

Their ability is an explosion that causes blindness and damages the survivor(s) up to 30. This does not effect downed survivors except for the blindness.

Their range is 1.5x larger than the Boomer’s blast. The farther you are the less damage you’ll take.

Their is a male and female version of this infected, the only difference is the female Imploder covers some of the boils on her face with the rest of her hair.

Their crouch move is a expressive bear crawl as the side to side movement during a forward or backward crawl is very noticeable.

The Imploder can’t make any noises due to it’s absent mouth, but it’s footsteps can be loud.

The cause of this mutation was theorized to be from drug use (Mostly Cocaine and Aderall), Diabetes, and a rare case of Scoliosis.

The Imploder loses it’s back boils after an explosion and has to wait for them to come back before exploding again. The Imploder can jump without it’s back boils.

Gender: Male, Female.

Type: Special Infected.

Mutations: Boils, Claws, Missing features.

Age: 20s-30s

Ability: A blast that covers the survivor(s) eyes with a maroon substance and deals up to 30 damage depending on how close the survivor is to them.

Music Cue: Bass.

The Imploder was given their name for the fact that they just spontaneously implode around living things, basically suiciding if they weren’t immune to their own blast, which they weren’t in their first evolution.

The Imploder was first spotted in California by a group of unsuspecting survivors. They wrote down the names they gave to all of the new mutations.
