Hello, hello! Aurora here with a lovely example post for this weeks amazing Challenge! It hasn't even been that long and so many people have entered with amazing blogs! I can't wait to see what y'all come up with and with that being said, here's my entry

So when most people see my profile I'm sure the first thing that comes to mind is "Oh! Of course she'll choose a rat! But oh boy are you wrong. I live rats a whole lot but I wouldn't want to be one for a day. I would like to be...

~A Wandering Albatross~

That's right, I'd want to be a bird! A very amazing one at that. But don't just take my weird for it, here's some facts about the magnificent creature

1) They have the largest wingspan of any living bird with a span of up to 11ft

2)They pair for life and work together to raise young

3)Their sense of smell is phenomenal, being able to smell fish up to 12 miles away

4)It's even common for females to pair for life. They'll occasionally mate with a male to have kids but the female pair will work together to raise them.

5)They can fly nonstop for nearly 50 days. They're one of the only birds even capable of such a feat!

Where Do You Live?

Wandering Albatross can be found all across the southern ocean, including Antarctic, sub-Antarctic, and subtropical waters

What Do You Do?

Well these birds just kinda exist. For me personally though, I would fly. That's literally the only reason I chose a bird. But there's a reason for this bird in particular. I could hhave gone with a stylish one but the Albatross is outstanding. It's massive and can fly for 50 days straight. Which means if I wanted to I could fly for the entire 24 hours.

Actually fly. Not glide or sit in a plane. But be up in the sky because it's where I would belong. And I wouldn't even get tired. 24 hours is nothing for an Albatross

Are You A Cross Breed?

No, indeed I am not

Are You A Show Animal?

Not technically. Not in the same way as being in a dog show. However the population is vulnerable and the population is slowly decreasing. So while I wouldn't perform tricks in a show I'd definitely be on tv with some kind of biologist doing the filming.

Are You A Working Animal?

Again, not in a way humans would see it. Albatross don't sow the ground or help hunt for people. They live for themselves and take care of themselves. Doesn't mean they aren't working hard every day though.
