A Baby Boo is an all white and rather small pumpkin. Most only grow to be about the size of a tennis ball! Even the whole plant is very small, just like the fruit. A single plant will be able to produce up to 10 mini pumpkins. The Baby Boo is a kind of acorn squash introduced in 1990. The vines can grow to be 10 feet long, or about 3.1 meters, these plants are perfect for growing along a fence line if you would be interested in growing them!

The Baby Boo is from West Milton, Pennsylvania! They were developed and grown by John Jaunsem. I can't find any additional information on Mr. Jaunsem other than that he released the Baby Boo pumpkin.

Here are some fun facts about these cute little pumpkins:
°·One: the pumpkins will usually only grow to be 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall.
°·Two: Like other gourds, you can eat Baby Boo pumpkins! They have large quantities of beta-carotene, despite being white and not orange in color, this is converted to vitamin A.
°·Three: Along with other health benefits, they can help improve eye sight, aid in weight loss, help to clear skin, and strengthen your immune system.
°·Four: To grow a Baby Boo, summertime or an area that can maintain over 75°F or about 24°C.
°·Five: The fruit should be ready to harvest about 95 days after the plant first sprouts.
