Hello, everyone! I am Mhine. You may also call me Vhe. I'm 37 years old. I go by She/Her pronouns. I can speak English, Tagalog, Ilocano(Philippines dialect) and basic Arabic. I have been a member of LGBT+ Amino for over 3 years. I am on the GMT+4 Timezone.

I'm quite a bubbly person to my very close friends and I get to be a bit shy to people I just met. There are times that I may detach myself in people just so I could get my peace of mind. I'd rather be quiet than tell people, even my close friends about my current thoughts.

If given the chance to be chosen as a curator, I could offer my time during my free time and I will do my best to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of being a curator to help make sure the guidelines are being followed.

I'm familiar with the moderation menu as I was a curator and leader in other communities. They might be small communities, but the menus are the same.

I may have broken some of the community guidelines. As far as I , they were mostly flashy mood bubbles, background, profile picture and probably stickers.

1. You are the only one online. There has been a small swarm of trolls that have just entered the community. One is spamming the feed and the other spamming chats with inappropriate content. What is your course of action?

>> I will have to take care of the one spamming the feed first because everyone can see the posts. I have to hide those inappropriate contents first. Then I will have to take care of the chats. I will take a screenshot of the inappropriate chats, get their links then report to an available leader for further course of action.

2. You have disabled a post for being considered as spam. They are not happy and are starting to harass you and call you names. How do you handle the situation?

>> As a staff, I have to remain calm. It is clear in the guidelines when posts will be considered as spamming. And as calmly as I could, I would explain to that member why the post got disabled.

3. You are moderating a chat/post, and you see an altercation between 2 or more . What's your course of action?

>> I'll try to read and understand what the altercation is all about. As calmly and as respectful as I could, I would ask the if they could settle things privately.

4. A member is asking for your help with a situation in their PMs about someone asking inappropriate things. They have evidence to their claim. What do you do?

>> I would ask for the proofs and the link of the member sending inappropriate things. Then I would report or forward to a leader for further action.

5. What would you do if you had a fight with another curator?

>> If this would happen, as much as possible, I would act maturely and just respectfully avoid further argument and respect the other curator's ideas.

6. What would you do if you had a fight with a leader?

>> Possible, but very small possibility to happen. If this will happen, I would try to be mature and respect the ideas and thoughts of a leader. A leader has more experience in dealing with stuff in the community. We have the same goal after all, which is to help each other make sure the guidelines are followed.

7. What would you do if a member has been posting about sensitive, triggering topics?

>> As per the guidelines, triggering topics must have trigger warnings. Posts without trigger warnings should be disabled and can be re-enabled when certain changes are made.

8. You get a report about member of staff abusing their power. How would you approach this situation?

>> This accusation should be dealt with accordingly. Without proofs, those member could be just trolling or making issues to a certain ataff. Before reporting such an issue, they must have solid proof like screenshots or screen recordings to their claims.

9. You see a chat/post with people saying negative things about staff/a certain staff member, do you do?

>> I have to take a screenshot of this chat/post because by doing such things without proofs (screenshots/screen recordings), it could be that they are making false claims about a certain staff or staff member. After getting the screenshots, I will forward it to a leader available.

10. You see a curator leaking sensitive information to a member. What do you do?

>> I guess it will depend on the sensitivity of the information. I think if the information is a future plan for the community like contests, events or other activities, that should be alright. Unless a leader would say no leaking of such plan. Moderations should be kept confidential between staff . Therefore, I would talk to that certain curator about his/her behavior and hopefully, he/she would never do it again.
