Long ago in a land called Arcadia there was a king who ruled over the place with a kind open heart. This king had a table of knights at it who would defend the lands and go on quests for the king. The king one day had heard about a relic long thought lost and decided to send their only female knight at the time. The knights name was Freya and she was one of the newer knights to the table. When the king had told her about the lost relic she had been more than happy to take up the quest. The king had said to her that she could take whatever she needed to get it done and so she decided to take her friend who had helped her get into the table. The friend was called Sur Winchester and he had been one of the more experienced knights of the table.

With their supplies gathered and the two friends together they traveled away from their home and out into the vast wilds of the kingdom. They traveled for many days and rested many knights fighting the odd bandit group along the way. That was until they stopped at a village to restock. There they met some brave young lads who seemed poor but wanted to travel. The two knights bought them drinks and sat down talking about the quest they were on and what they were hunting. The mens eyes lit up at the thought of helping their gracious king even if they were no knights they wanted to help. Ones name was pippin and another was henry. The group of four stayed at the village for the night and departed in the morning with what supplies they could carry.

As days turned to nights and nights turned to days they eventually managed to get to their destination. It happened to be guarded by a mysterious golden knight who stood in the middle of the forest with their sword in hand upside down resting tip first on the ground. The group was cautious of this unknown knight as they seemed to be very powerful. They approached the knight slowly before a loud booming voice yelled “HALT” the group stopped on the spot and listened to what the knight had to say. “You must answer these four questions in order to to get the relic. Should you answer incorrectly you will be punished.” So first up to answer one of the four questions was pippin the cockiest of the bunch who seemed like he knew everything.

The knight called out to him and said “what is your favorite color!” Pippin of course said “BLUE…no wait its Red!” And with that the sky seemed to darken and lightning struck down on the poor boy turning him into ash. Second up was Henry who looked to the knight knees shaking after what he had just witnessed. The knights voice boomed out again. “WHAT IS THE SEVENTH LETTER OF THE ALPHABET.” henry who was already a mess couldn’t think properly and his stomach growled. Thats when he said “im starting to feel a little bit hungry.” The knight yelled out once more “WRONG” and the trees seemed to start to move as the ground started to crawl up his legs. There he was turned into a tree to become one with the forest.

Third up was Sur Winchester who seemed to be brave in this situation as a stoic knight could be. The mysterious knight yelled out once again “WHAT IS YOUR ION!” And Sur Winchester answered “my ion is my service to the king!” The mysterious knight stayed silent for a moment before the eye slots started to glow purple. “WRONG” he finally yelled and cast a poison into Sur Winchesters body. There his life started to fade away and he fell down to the ground getting quickly weaker. Instead of asking the last question The knight Freya rushed to her friends side and held his hand as a tear fell down from her face and landed on the ground. Thats when the mysterious knight finally moved towards her side and asked in a hushed tone. “What is it you want most right now.” And the knight Freya looked to this mysterious knight clearing her throat to speak. “I want my friends back by my side who were with me on this quest even if it means giving my life to save theirs” the mysterious knight stayed silent before kneeling down beside her and placing a hand on her shoulder. “You have answered correctly and your wish shall be granted young knight.”

There was a wave that rushed through the air and pippin was turned back into human fron ash life once again in his body. The trees reclined and Henry was turned back to normal unable to believe what had just happened. Last but not least the poison was drained away from Sur Winchesters body and he was once again given the strength to fight on. There the mysterious knight removed their helmet and it was revealed to be their king. Their king had spoke one last time to them during their quest. “You have proved yourself young knight that you would sacrifice it all to save those around you and here i bestow upon you the sword of life.”

The knight Freya took the sword and looked it over before bowing to her king. She thanked him for the test and the group gave each other hugs before they set off to go home. The end of their journey was on its way and for showing their valor and willingness to help Henry and Pippin were turned into knights while Freya had been gifted a magical sword. Sur Winchester was given a life lesson that it wasn’t his king he just defended but the people as well.
