ೃ⁀Silent Struggle — Poem

Ver. 1

The world moves fast, so bright, so loud,

Yet I walk slow beneath the crowd.

They laugh, they talk, they shine, they glow,

While I sink deep where no one goes.

The sun still rises, warm and bright,

But I am tired of chasing light.

Each step is heavy, words fall thin,

A battle fought but never win.

They do not see, they do not know,

The weight I bear, the ache below.

So I just smile, say, "I'm okay,"

And hope to make it one more day.

But I fear being seen as a burden

They do not see, they do not know,

Had some inspiration for a poem while I was at work today :sparkles: Everyone else seems so.. joyful living their lives. It all seems to come so easy to them. Even just working seems like it doesn't weigh much to them, but to me.. it's incredibly heavy. I get so extremely exhausted, I am paralysed for the rest of the day. While they go out to hang with friends, drink, go to the gym with full energy, I just wondered why I can't relate. That's kinda the inspiration for this poem. Feeling like you're the "odd one out" just because things don't seem to come as easily to you as they do with others.
