#ActivitySoundTrack Weekend by Mr. Games

Hello Metal Amino it is me Games and welcome to my world.

This is my first time doing a weekend challenge blog but I thought it would be fun. This is also a topic I think about quite frequently as well so lets get started.

Running

Ah running is a great healthy activity that we should all do more often. However, it can be hard to find the willpower to run or focus while running. Music helps me solve this problem. I find Blind Guardian to be my fav band to listen to during a run.

Blind Guardian provides a nice tempo and being fast but not too fast witch is perfect for running. I also like to think of my runs as epic journeys. Their songs give me the willpower to run as if the world will be destroyed if I don't finish the run.

Playing DnD

Dungeons and Dragons might be the most nerdy thing out there but I would be lying if I said it wasn't fun. From creating your own characters and enjoying adventures with your friends this game is amazing. I really enjoy listening to Folk Metal during the battle phase.

I don't listen to Folk Metal a lot but when I do it is definitely Equilibrium. I just love the upbeat sound and the different types of Folk instruments used. It really makes me feel like I am really on the battlefield with my friends as we are killing dragons or whatever monster comes across our path.

Office Work

Work is something we have to do to put food on the table. I used to do nothing but draw piping systems on AutoCAD all day. Sometimes this would get really tedious and just quite boring. My solution to this was to just listen to 8-bit music.

Being in front of a computer and listening to 8-bit made my work feel like a video game. I just loved hearing those old school game boy sounds while putting together my drawings and it made me feel like I was 5 again. Also there are many 8-bit versions of metal songs so I am going to make a huge playlist of that soon.

Yard Work

I really do enjoy mowing my lawn or even building things outside. It makes me feel really productive and ready to work hard. I absolutely love to listen to Classic Rock,Blues and Country while working hard.

From songs to working hard or not wanting to work anymore this always brings good times for me. Just the soul and emotion of the singers in these genres makes me feel their pain of work. I have good memories of helping my stepdad cut a bunch bad trees outside and making a huge burning pile while listening to Country Classics

Watching The Rain

Finnally down the last activity and it is rain. I find rain to be such a beautiful yet depressing thing. I always enjoy watching it outside or even while I am chilling in my car. No matter what, I always have to listen to Deftones in the rain.

These guys really know how to give a heavy yet chilling sound. It's like the rain flows with their music and how it changes from soft to hard just like the rain. I really like Chino's voice and how calm it can sound and sometimes I feel like he is trapped in the rain. I also like how the guitar tone sounds with the harmonics as I watch the rain drops hit the windows.

Well that is it for my first blog and I really enjoyed doing it and hope to do more in the future.
