The powers of the miraculouses are extremely rare. One in 10,000 kids are born with this and it is very uncommon to come across a child with these powers. However, two children with these powers were to collide paths; not realising how much they would impact each other's lives.

*With Adrien and Marinette when they were 5*

”Vroom vroom!” In the middle of a sandpit sat a blonde-haired boy. He was busy playing with his truck; just a small child living his best life. His hair messily flopped over his eyes as he noticed in the distance a small boy was being pushed by another boy. He could feel his temper rising; he hated violence. Suddenly, he shouted "Cataclysm!" (He couldn't help it, it always happened when he got angry). He watched in horror as his favourite toy disintegrated into dust before him. He poked the black dust pile in front of him before collapsing into tears.

Yet he didn't notice a small pig-tailed girl approach and sit next to him.

"Hey! What's wrong?" She smiled at him as the boy continued to ignore her. He simply pointed at the dust heap. "Where did that come from?" She picked up a small handful and played with it in her hands.

"My truck..." the boys voice trailed into a whisper as he looked up at the young girl. What was the point in saying this? She couldn't do anything to help.

The bluenette glanced around to make sure no one else was watching. She flicked the dust off her hands and put it back on the pile. "Lucky Charm!" She closed her eyes and pictured a truck, one that couldn't be broken, as the dust miraculously rose to touch her fingers. The boy coughed from the dust particles but when he saw what was in front of him he squealed in delight.

"My truck! How did you do that?" He picked it up to examine it.

"I have this kind of power, I can create things if I picture them."

"I have a power too!" His face lit up even more. He finally had someone who understood. “I destroy stuff.”

"No way!" The girl laughs and looks at the boy. "My name's Marinette, what's yours?"

"Adrien. Adrien Agreste."

"Well nice to meet you Adrien, we should hang out together more often."

"I would love that."

As the years went by, the two became closer and closer. It wasn't until they were 10 that things massively changed. Adrien's parents found out about his powers after he accidentally destroyed his phone after getting annoyed at it. Even though as Adrien got older he managed to control his powers better, his parents were growing more and more concerned at his supernatural side. His mother, Emelie, became so paranoid that they were forced to move away, desperate to find a cure to the powers he had obtained. 6 years later he returned back to Paris, but neither one of the pair ed each other. And this is where our story starts…
