Is Shrek the Third Good?

I watched this a few days ago for the first time in years. And while it's definitely not as bad as I , I can't say it's good either. While there are some pretty well-done elements like Shrek's relatable arc about feeling insecure about becoming a father and the occasional joke that lands. It's really bogged down by childish humour, underusage of great characters like Donkey, Puss, Fiona, etc, weird tonal problems, miss timed/undercooked jokes, and a super underwhelming finale. Pretty much everything in this movie pails in comparison to what came before it, and it's easily my least favourite Shrek movie, and it's the only one I wouldn't watch again or recommend to anyone. I think I can live with its letterboxd score being 2.9, just as long as it doesn't go into the 3's, it definitely isn't good enough to be in that range.

Putting aside my thoughts, what do you think of this movie? Do you like it? dislike it? Meh it? Let me know. I'm aware disliking this movie isn't exactly a very original opinion as most people at the very least feel indifferent to it but if you enjoy it, I'd genuinely like to know because that's definitely the more uncommon take-away from this film.
