Hello mystic babies! So this is my blog

that will be covering what roles I think

our lovable Mystic Messenger babies

would play if they were in the game Doki

Doki literature club! If you don’t know

much about the game, a little summary

of it would be ↴

Doki Doki is a psychological horror game

that follows you the main character on

a seemingly normal day to school. That

is until you loving bubbly friend Sayroi

pesters you about ing an afterschool

club. Upon the end of the school day you

still haven’t ed a club, so in true best

friend fashion, she invites you to hers.

but once ing, you find yourself in a

literature club full of pretty girls…

sound familiar? But, upon getting close

to these girls weird and disturbing things

begin to occur. ↴

well guys I think that’s it, let’s get into

So to begin I will be starting with Rika.

I will be placing her in Monika’s place.

let’s just say….Monika ruled over the

the literature club. She was the leader.

I mean, are we already seeing the simple

similarities here?

there are more though, so let’s get into

them. Monika would do anything for her

club , for her club…to her club

. She was also, very charming.

She was outgoing and beautiful to say

the least. The member of the club loved

and respected her. They would follow her

lead no matter what, no matter if they

disagreed with her choice of action…

like I said she was very charming.

you could say, she had full control over

the literature club and its . I

guess you can see the similarities and

why I chose Rika for the role of Monika

in the game now. She essentially had

the same role in the RFA..and after.

now when I say this I whole heartedly

believe we all thought the same thing

when we were introduced to the sweet

loving and bubbly Yoosung. He has

such a carefree and free spirited

attitude…no matter how gullible

he is to 707 jokes. And as much as I’m

sure we were all on the same page with

that, I’m also sure we were all shocked

to see that he had darker emotions

behind that mask. And we all witnessed

those dark emotions unfold infront of us

like a black rose with thorns.

Sadly though he has a lot in common

with Sayori who is also a character who

is introduced to us as a carefree bubbly

and loving character. Who also shows up

up to school late, who shows up disheveled

and unkempt and who’s always told that

she needs to get it together…see any

similarities here? And just like Yoosung

no one really knew that behind all of

this, that she was actually struggling

with depression.

its sad to say, but these characters have

a lot in common and I just want to

hug them! And squeeze them tight!

now though these two may seem very

different, but follow me here. Because

truthfully they have a major similarity

that I love. Starting with Jahee,

she may be quiet, but! She still

speaks her mind when she feels it’s

needed and especially when she is

ionate about something. I.E

Zens looks and his performances,

not to mention the safety of the

of the RFA.

let’s not forget either!

she does not! Like being teased!

Yuri is the same. Though she is very

quiet and timid, when she is talking

about something she is very ionate

about, she transforms into a diffrent

person right before your eyes. Which

is similar to how Jaehee is when she

is talking about Zen. And I have to

it. It is very refreshing to see

when Jaehee is so free from her

normal business professional

mindset. From being teased about

being so robot like, to her becoming

a fan girl who wants to tell you all

the details she likes about Zen and

his performances. So I do feel that

in the Doki Doki universe, she would

be Yuri for sure.

now I will say. Personality wise! These

two are complete opposites. But just

stick with me here, and hold my hand

when I tell you this. Natsuki is a bratty,

girly,slice of life manga loving girl who

likes to bake the most adorable cakes,

cookies and cupcakes! With all that

being said though, she’s the only one

who notices when things start changing

for the worst with the literature club.

Yet, she keeps it to herself. Waiting

in hope that someone else may notice

but when that moment seems to never

happen, she begins to wait until she can

open up to someone that she can trust

when things start to become a little to

much for her to bear.

shes the one who stays quiet to

protect the feelings of the ones she

cares about deeply…the one who was

first to become aware…sound familiar

yet?

Despite these two being fairly different,

V being a photographer who was slowly

becoming work renowned, compared to

this bratty,sassy and adorable girl…it’s

crazy right. I thought so to until putting

these pieces together. Despite their

major differences…their awareness

speaks for itself. They both have the

role of being wildly self aware and

being a protector in someway

before it becomes too late…

now there isn’t to much to say about

the MCs in these games but at the

same time…there is. I chose the

Mystic Messenger MC for a reason

because as you may all know, you

can choose a picture for your MC

but as the story progresses we know

they have a different MC. But to stick

to the game I chose a photo of my

great friend here, Vinny Sans MC.

now back to the plot here. Both

MCs are they had to be…basically

saviors. This is all despite them

being in life threatening situations!

even seeing people that they’ve just

met and have grown feelings and

attachments for go through some

horrible situations and their own

twisted torments. And let’s not

forget having to make some tough,

irrational, and consequential

Choices.

Now with Doki Doki Literature club

only having five characters I could not

compare 707-Zen-or Jumin to anyone

of course. Yet I still have roles I think

they would play in the Doki Doki

universe. So I will begin with 707.

Seven in my opinion of course would

have the role of the person MC and

VXNatsuki the “aware character”

if you will, would come to for help in

hopes that it’s not to late to save

everyone. Hoping of course that he

is not like the others following behind

our Rika X Monika character blindly

and being trapped in their own

confusing torment.

now moving onto Jumin and Zen. From

what we’ve saw in the game MM, I

believe they would be characters who

would follow Rika X Monika’s lead for

sure. Only for the simple fact they

believe she would and could do no

harm. In my opinion there would be a

factor of blind trust X Manipulation.

Zen and Jumins strong willed trust

and Rika X Monica’s manipulation.

I will say I do also believe if it were to

come into play, Jumin would be the first

out of him and Jumin to become aware

and he would confront our V X Natsuki.

Zen on the other hand, if he were to

become aware, he would need to see

Physical evidence! If he were to ever!

become aware.

But guys! That will be all for the character

comparison. Next we will get into a

short fan fiction piece on how I think things

would play out if our MM characters were

actually in the Doki Doki universe!
