For those older fans who recognize Tony Allen, I'm pretty sure y'all already know who he is as the guy who really was a feisty defender, mostly ed for his days with the Memphis Grizzlies as one of the main catalyst of the Grit 'n' Grind era.
However, what some people don't know is that he was only making about $3 million in his first 3 seasons with the Grizzlies, including the year they reached their first Western Conference Finals in franchise history which it will be considered as severely underpaid if he played today and it won't be until his final two seasons where he made at least $5 million despite his final season in Memphis saw a massive salary cap boom thanks to a new TV deal.
