Nintendo Direct 2.13.2019 Predictions

First, I have about 6 predictions of things I don't think we'll see in the Nintendo Direct:

No Metroid Prime 4

Sorry Arlo but I don't think Nintendo will show any more information about this game yet again and fans will be upset yet again. An exclusive Metroid Direct could be a good idea by announcing Metroid Prime Trilogy on Switch and the release date for Metroid Prime 4.

No Animal Crossing Switch

I think Nintendo will release this later in the year, definitely fall or later so if my calculations are precise, then it is not necessary to give further details about this game so they'll save it for E3 or a Nintendo Direct in the near future.

No Pikmin 4

Sorry Arlo x2. I guarantee that Nintendo will announce Pikmin 4 at either E3 2019 or E3 2020. Or it'll never come and the whole series is abandoned, anything could happen! You may be wondering what I think the new game for this Direct is... well I have about 4 predictions regarding that but you'll have to keep reading.

No Breath of the Wild 2 or Super Mario Odyssey 2

One or both of these games could happen at one point in the future but not in 2019. I think Super Mario Odyssey 2 is more likely because it could be like a Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 situation. But, I don't think Nintendo should make another 3D Zelda or 3D Mario for the Switch (excluding a Super Mario 3D World port).

No Super Mario Maker port or sequel, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, or Mario Sports game

Recent rumors have stated Super Mario Maker 2 will be showcased in this Direct but frankly I think it's too good to be true but I hope I'm wrong. I'll also throw in that I don't think a new Mario spinoff will be announced.

No new Switch, N64 classic, or Gameboy classic

Another hot topic with Nintendo fans right now is a Nintendo Switch Pro or Mini. A little less talked about but still discussed is a new classic console. Nintendo doesn't usually announce these types of things during a Direct though.

Now, I have about 14 predictions of things I think we'll see in the Nintendo Direct:

Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch announcement

Instead of Metroid Prime 4 being in the Direct, I think the Trilogy on the Switch is more likely. I also think a Pikmin Trilogy on the Switch is likely if Nintendo isn't ready to show Pikmin 4 yet, but ultimately Metroid has a higher chance than Pikmin at this point.

Pokémon Switch information

Y'know what has a higher chance than Pikmin 4 AND Metroid Prime 4? That's right... Pokémon Switch. I put "information" to be more general because I don't know if they are going to show gameplay, a release date, the title(s), etc.

Fire Emblem Three Houses release date

Pokémon and Fire Emblem are at about the same stage besides that Fire Emblem already has a title being Three Houses while Pokémon doesn't have a title/titles yet. Very likely to be present at this Direct.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Joker showcase

Joker gameplay and release date. Yup. And uh I'm not predicting a newcomer.

Star Fox Grand Prix announcement

Dare I say my boldest prediction right here. I mean it's not unlikely. Release date of Early 2020 for now.

Nintendo Labo Kit 4 announcement

Is Nintendo just done with this...? We haven't seen LABO in a while and I don't think people really want to have to buy another kit for all that money. Eh it's a possibility.

Yoshi's Crafted World and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn amiibo

Both of these games are coming out in March which is next month and Yoshi's Woolly World had amiibo. Also, won't Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn be like the fifth to last 3DS game or something crazy like that? Maybe it will come in a bundle with a new amiibo. The Yoshi amiibo are the cutest little collectibles anyways.

Luigi's Mansion 3 gameplay

I am personally hyped for this game the most. I think we just need some gameplay and they can give us the title and release date later on down the road. Any information shown about this game I will gladly take.

Splatoon 2 final Splatfest information

It's well known the last update for Splatoon 2 was released (or was it the last!?) and the Splatfests will end this summer I believe. A reveal of the rest of the Splatfest themes would be a nice way to end the of this beloved game.

Super Mario Party DLC

I heard this game drastically needs an update. This is one of those "and this will be available right after the Direct" things.

Super Mario 3D World Switch port

People were asking for New Super Mario Bros on the Switch and they gave us New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe so I bet they're gonna do that with the 3D Mario game on the Wii U. Port that sucka over.

Legend of Zelda port or The Legend of Zelda Maker

What I think is less likely than Super Mario 3D World Switch but not out of the question is a Legend of Zelda port. Either that or The Legend of Zelda Maker (instead of Super Mario Maker 2).

A Mii game for Switch

These types of games get me really excited, especially Tomodachi Life. There's not really a Mii game on the Switch yet surprisingly. I know I only have Mii Sports and Tomodachi Life 2 pictured but I would also like to throw in Nintendo Land 2 as a possibility.

More Nintendo Switch Online NES games

My last prediction is Nintendo just ignoring SNES games for Nintendo Switch Online and keep releasing NES game until they've just squeezed the whole orange and there's not juice left. Yet people will still be shocked.
