Ｇʀᴇᴇᴛɪɴɢꜱ Ｂᴇᴀᴜᴛɪꜰᴜʟ Ｓᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇʀꜱ

So. For a long time I thought about doing some reworking on my OC Heather- some of you might know her, others would be highly confused but yeah, I’m doing a little recap and explain who Heather is, what changes I made for her and something along those lines.

Anyway.

First of all, Heather isn’t my first One Piece OC- this crown goes to a different character that used to live in a different universe than Heather, until I put both of them in the same universe.

When I get time to write the story, you will be introduced to her.

Now back on track, Heather is a part of the Revolutionary Army, since nearly day one. She is one of the older and was recruited early.

She works for Dragon as a historian and as a secretary, mainly to keep Dragon alive when he overworks himself.

She used to be a slave until she was 16, on a rainy night she was freed of being a slave- which is where she met Dragon for the first time as well.

Because of her own will she wanted to be a part of the revolutionaries, especially because she knew how hard it was as a slave, and she wanted vengeance for the ones who wronged her in life.

Dragon took her under his wing and taught her the things she didn’t know before, like writing, reading etc.

She learned all those things eagerly, especially since she always wanted to learn those. She was taught to fight as well; however, she wasn’t much of a talented person when it came to fighting. It was manageable.

Her devil fruit is a Zoan type, it allows her to transform into a Barn Owl. How she required the food is rather simple and also sad.

The one that owned her before she gained freedom, made his hobby to give his slaves different devil fruits, didn’t matter if they were fake or not.

At first she hated this power, she couldn’t swim anymore, which made her fear of the sea even worse. But through the training and Dragons help she slowly appreciated it and made the power she gained in the past her own.

Her personality is between carefree spirited and being loyal as a puppy. Although her loyalty is reserved for Dragon and Dragon only. It took her a while to be like that though, considering on how much she got backstapped in the past by others. She considers her friends as a part of a weird family of misfits and cares a lot of them, even if you don’t expect that from her at first.

Ivankov was, besides Dragon, the first friend she made of all of the bunch. Her friendship could be describes as being a chaotic, even too chaotic. So chaotic that Dragon banned them for working together because both would be singlehandedly caught immediately.

Inazuma is considered a close friend of her as well. Mostly known to be her study buddy when she needs to learn something new.

The other relationships would be explained later in her wiki- once I updated it.

As for her other friends.

Seraphyna, Desdemona and Melody would be her little squad and people she met during her time as a revolutionary.

Other than that, it’s kinda obvious by now that Heather developed a little crush for Dragon, who gave her an opportunity to live a normal life.

Not only did he taught her many things, he also gave Heather her name, since she was only referred as a number before.

The second important thing he gave to her was the blue brooch that she always and I mean always, wears it. It reminds her of the stormy night and the blue sea of freedom, after she escaped from her horrible life.

That would be, a little bit information about her.

Apart form the knowledge that in this AU she is Luffy’s mother, but that’s a story for another time.

Anyway, to her design!

Between her original design, the old new design and now her new new design, nothing changed much about her.

I got rid of the blue dress and some minor details like the crown braids, some accessories and stuff like that.

The only thing that actually stayed, clothing wise, is her brooch, even tho I also redesigned that a while ago.

Other than that, I changed the colours from blue to mostly black and gold.

As for other notable things, I let her keep the pants from her old new design and the coat Dragon used to have. He gave it to her at their first meeting as well.

Her clothes currently are a mix of slight steam punk and the two stickers I have to welcome new people in chats and remind them about spoilers and stuff. The inside of her dress is golden, much like her shoe as well. She got a fire lily necklace and some fire lilies in her hair, instead of those flowers I made up and ended to be hibiscus flowers.

I have no idea how that happened.

She also wears some gloves and has two barn owl feathers in her hair. She still has her freckles.

But that’s all for now, once I get more time, I begin on working on a story for her and rework on the wiki as well. Can’t say for sure when it’s going to be out- but eh.

I first drew a sketch on how the pose should be. I might drew inspiration from Genshin Impact when you pull a character-

After that I began to draw. I decided to combine some drawing techniques and I think it worked out fine. It was a little bit hard for me to colour stuff but now I think I get better each time.
