Hey everyone, L here

Hey everyone, L here. Ever since the day I 1st learned about the God Valley incident, as well as Roger & Garp's involvement, I often wondered what Hancock's reaction might be if she ever learns about it. Even though it would be hard for Hancock to accept that preventing Rocks's success was really worth allowing the very Celestial Dragons who eventually wronged her to remain in power until now.

But judging by Roger & Garp's real reason for participating in the event, it could stand to reason that only during the most climactic part of the incident that stopping Rocks was more important than facing each other.

Hey everyone, L here

However, during the latest episode of OP, not only did we got to see the anime adaptation of the Rocks Pirates themselves, but one of Hancock's predecessors Gloriosa was also part of that crew at the time.

Although there are currently no solid evidence to back it up, it's possible that Gloriosa viewed Rocks the same way Hancock did for Luffy. Which might have made her by far the only member of the crew to have ever seen anything good in Rocks's motive for world dominance.

But during the event, especially when learning that Rocks was going too far with his anti World Noble crusade, which led the citizens & the slaves to get killed in the crossfire, Gloriosa realized what a fool she was for allowing her own love for man like Rocks to cloud her judgment. Thus inspiring her to not allow others including her successors to not make the same mistakes she made!

Now obviously, most of you will say that what happened to Gloriosa will never happen to Hancock. While that may be true from the fan's perspective, I am however speaking as if I was a One Piece character who was aware about any of this. After all, how do we know there isn't another character like Gloriosa who believes that Hancock is letting her love for Luffy get the better of her, which may lead her to make a poor decision that would put everyone she cares about at risk. Or she learned about her predecessor's betrayal from someone else and never bothered to let Gloriosa explain herself to her.

Hey everyone, L here

One of, if not the best ways for Hancock to avoid that kind of fate is for her:

1. Never let the Lovesickness blind her like it did to her predecessors.

2. Be willing to cooperate with the group lead by the one she loves by any means necessary.

3. Fully learn exactly what went wrong with Gloriosa & the Rocks Pirates so that Hancock can do better with the SH.

But most importantly, assuming Hancock were to ever learn about all this, do you think that she'll realize how much she misjudged Gloriosa, which would make her no longer see her predecessor as a traitor, but merely a misunderstood woman who wasn't able to see what a flawed man Rocks was before it was too late.
