We've all had that game where we just SNAP.
You know, where we just have that realization where we think to ourselves "Holy shit..."
That game was me a few days ago.
This isn't going to be a normal blog, so expect a little more personality from me in this blog.

Where it began.
I was lobbying up for Competitive, solo queuing, and I found a game after about two minutes of queuing. I just finished warmups in Quick Play by playing all my mains. I'm basically a smurf in my rank, anyways. So to avoid any more confusion, I'm going to play some competitive
I was placed in a team of players who were willing to cooperate and fill. So I went Winston, encouraging them to play what they want to play. Because to win, we must all play out best heroes without any doubts.

"Xela"
When I was playing, there was an enemy who was named "Xela". He was playing McCree at the time, and our team got completely destroyed by him. But with a loss, I learned.
I decided that I was going to observe his playstyle, and I saw that he always used the high ground. No matter what, he always played above our team to have the advantage over us.
But he also tried to make it to where he would ALWAYS have a chance to duel any of our 200 heroes to secure picks so his team could advance. I play McCree behind a shield with a to back me up, because that is the most reasonable and (I thought) effective way to play McCree.
Xela was also always using Deadeye to flash us off of a point, and the second he saw that all of my team went to cover to wait for six for his Deadeye to go out, he would cancel Deadeye and bolt straight for us. So by the time we think Deadeye just finished and we could advance, Xela was waiting around the corner with a flashbang in one hand and a revolver in the other.

How I coped with Xela.
It's easy to assume that we lost miserably. And if you guessed that we lost, then you are right. Because we lost. Pathetically. But I learned a lot from that ONE game, and it completely changed how I looked at playstyles.
One doesn't have to play a hero and do the same thing over and over again just because it's meta because there is another way to play heroes that can introduce new ways to dominate and adapt to your playstyle. Xela was amazing and doing 1v1s, so he made it to where he could force himself to duel others. It fit his playstyles and benefited his team.
I've said multiple times that I've gotten bored of Overwatch because it's always the same game. But thanks to Xela, I see differently. I feel like something "SNAPPED" and now I know what I need to do. It just feels like I can do what I want and still have a positive benefit to my team, as long as I can do it and play it efficiently.

Overall.
In general, I feel like I've learned a lot. I can play better and have more confidence in what I am doing because I know that I will be helping my team in what I am doing.
I wanted to get this off of my chest because I felt like we can all learn from this, not just me. Everyone wants to climb their ranks, so here is your first OFFICIAL tip from Speeding that will help you climb.
Don't be scared to do something unexpected and different even though it's not meta.
Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you all have the most wonderful of evenings.

He he sounds like a new great Sombra born inside you after that game :sunglasses:
I guess that's true. I have reincarnated!
Its like the borg, if you watch star trek. Maybe a few of them die to an unexpected cause, but then they adapt. They become stronger through experience.
