Date: January 14 2XXX

Mission Log: Blackwatch Team arrived at Target landing Site 04-321 at the appropriate time. This stealth operation took weeks of preparation. Thanks to our backup Unit and the intel they provided about The Hashimoto Clan and there weapons depot. This part of the panflit is a fully written log of mission details on the event. For the record, my name is Doctor Moira O’ Deorian.

The Squad on mission were: Myself, Gabriel Reyes, Cole Cassidy, and a new member on the team Genji Shimada. Our mission began under the cover of darkness, we thought the best way of infiltration was to: “Use the shadows as our ally.” As Genji Shimada had stated , Genji Shimada had small personal feelings on this mission. Apparently The Shimada Clan and Hashimoto Clan had a small history that wasn’t found out until recently. More to be recorded.

From our intel, it was light security around 12:00 and any guards were dealt with quietly. We entered through the east side of the weapons depot. Our primary objectives were to secure the weapons that The Hashimoto Clan had secured from a robbery at one of our [REDACTED] in [REDACTED]. The mission was successful, with recovery of both the [REDACTED] and a new unidentified small cube of some sorts, where this next page shall be our researchers report on the matter. All suspects were “apprehended” and evidence of the event were erased. Medical records of a specific [REDACTED] agent are also written on this file for Overwatch Doctor [REDACTED] for her own personal examinations.

[It was a large interview room, with a large glass wall cut down the middle. In the middle of the room in between both walls is a large table where both the subject and Doctor will begin their interview.]

Doctor L: Please state your name for the record.

Genji: Watashinonamaeha Shimada Genjidesu.

Doctor L: Please speak your name in english, please.

Genji: Shimada, Genji.

Doctor L: How are you feeling today, Genji Shimada?

Genji: What is my next mission?

Doctor L: Please stop avoiding my questions, Mr. Shimada.

Genji: I want to know what my next mission is.

Doctor L: I assure you Mr. Shimada, we have no mission for you.

Genji: I was revived from death, to become a weapon to use against your enemies.

Doctor L: To get back to the point on hand, we wish to ask you about your time on your last mission.

Genji: You want to know about The [REDACTED]

Doctor L: Yes, how are you feeling from your direct ?

Genji: It came alive.

Doctor L: Say again?

Genji: It came alive. It threw itself onto me, made my body spark and turn it against myself. I couldn’t due much due to the commander knocking me out. I woke up in my cell afterwards.

Doctor L: Your room?

Genji: My Cell. You call it my room, but it’s locked when I enter and I can’t leave unless I tell my superiors. I am only allowed outside for a period of time. I am a weapon, and I want to know my next mission. Cassidy was attacked by The [REDACTED] as well, ask him. Are we done here?

Item of Classification: A small 18 x 18 inch square cube. Made with a unknown metal, Item: #335316-AB was collected on mission by a special ops team: [REDACTED].

Item Description: The Item stands as a small cube. Its height stands at: 20 by 20 inches tall. The cube was made by an unknown strange metal. On each side of the cube is filled with a strange inscription. Our research and development teams are trying to determine the language but no one has found out anything yet. Several tests have been conducted but we haven't been able to look into the cubes insides.

The Following collection are images of the item that our researchers are calling:" The Cube". This pamphlet is to be seen by with a security rank 7 or above.

Update: Several tests have been conducted. A few engineers had an electronic device in their own words: "Come Alive". This fascinating discovery can help with the development of the minds of The Omnics! There will be a copy of this document sent to the office of Dr.Mina Liao.

Overwatch Observation And Research Center Data Log:

Date: May 17th 2XXX

This is Head Scientist Winston, this is a reordered data log of a strange communication last night. Whoever they are, they used amazing stealth communication. The location of where this log was recorded was near one of our radar towers located in Nevada. The following transcript is what we could decipher before losing connection:

"Optimus": Rachet, this is Optimus, report.

"Rachet": I've swept the outer perimeter, no sign of "Arcee" or the human she was with.

"Optimus": Keep calm old friend, we will find her. What about her communicator?

"Rachet": From her last recording she was located somewhere in Gibraltar in British overseas territory. Wait… Optimus someone is listening in!

"Optimus": Deceptions?

"Rachet": Negative, it's human frequency!

"Optimus": Cut communications and retreat to headquarters!

From what we can theorize, it's a transmission between two omnics. Possibly Null-Sector, but we can't be fully sure and that's why I wish to donate this log to the now remade and ongoing Project: [REDACTED] as part of the evidence board.

Date: August 18 2XXX

Research Notes By Archivist Orion Paxton.

Case 1: This is the personal log of Head Archivist Orion Paxton of Overwatch. What I'm about to record is a series of different tests that both our science and engineer departments had conducted on specific unknown item: #335314-AB. Or what our employees have began to call:" The Cube"

Test 1-1: Engineers thought of trying to try and get into the center of The Cube by using simple drilling equipment. All attempts of trying to break into The Cube had failed.

Test 1-2: Another attempt that The Engineers tried to forcefully open The Cube. They tried using small explosives, dropping it from high places, running it over with vehicles. Each attempt failed with not even a single scratch on The Cube. To prevent further tests from The Engineers, Strike Commander Morrison issued a statement to Torbjorn Lindholm:" Stop trying to blow up the magic space cube. Leave it in the hands of the scientists please."

Test 1-3 : First experiment with The Scientists. Tests were trying to use electricity against The Cube. Results ended with The Cube seemingly absorbing the Electricity and never releasing it back out. More testing is required for possible theories.

Test 1-4: Attempts were made on trying to use The Cube to charge electronic equipment. Two Scientists placed there cellular devices near The Cube which ended with The phones gaining strange sentience and the phones getting arms and legs and running around the lab trying to escape containment. More testing is required.

Test 1-5: Scientists attempted to bring more different types of electronics to life:

•A Playstation 4

•A Motorcycle

•A Smartphone

• A Nintendo game cartridge

Any other testing has either been proved failures or not able to exceed the expectations needed from experiments.
