Honestly, this is a damn shame. He was such a great contribution to the Dallas Fuel (when he wasn't bloody suspended). Dallas Fuel has slowly been descending into the pits of "Worst OWL Team" and this is really not helping. Only time will tell if OGE will add to the team as much as xQc did, but this doesn't change the fact that I have a few salty opinions to share.

Table of Contents

Part One; What he Did.

Part Two; How he was Punished.

Part Three; Should he be punished?

Part Four; Coming back into the League.

°•◇◇------------------------------------------------◇◇•°

What he Did.

xQc was watching the Overwatch League Stream when he typed "TriHard 7" into chat, as a way to greet chat. This was also later confirmed by Félix himself in his stream (Link). But it turns out that when this was all being spammed, it was using being in a racist way against the only black announcer.

Any man with an IQ of three or higher can see what this lead to; xQc was accused of being racist and was immediately attacked by other league and media alike. And he was never given a chance to explain himself through this because he was already being punished by Blizzard.

°•◇◇------------------------------------------------◇◇•°

How he was Punished.

xQc was fined four thousand dollars and was forced to be benched by Blizzard for four games. This wasn't taken very lightly because he was already suspended again after just getting off his previous Stage One suspension. Hastr0, the owner of the Dallas Fuel, was forced to come up with a hard decision on what he was going to be doing to xQc himself.

So, he got released. I find this an overreaction, but xQc has said before on stream that he feels like he now has more freedom to roam around and "be himself" again. So I haven't been feeling too down on his release, but I feel Hastr0 has made a grave mistake. His main Tank player, who saved them on multiple occasions, was just taken off their roster.

°•◇◇------------------------------------------------◇◇•°

Should he be punished?

It has been established with actual evidence that xQc has said TriHard 7 a SHIT ton in Overwatch League, especially at the beginning of streams as a way to say hello ( Link ). I, personally, believe that he should have never been punished and deserves to still be in the league. Luckily for us, he still might have a chance to enter the Overwatch League again by ing San Francisco Shock.

This was never officially confirmed, but SSF player "Danteh" has asked if xQc has signed up for his team yet. This could lead to something later on for Félix, but you never know. xQc had done a lot of crazy things, I of all people should know this. I'm known as a mini-xQc. Either way, xQc never deserved this, and the evidence proves this.

°•◇◇------------------------------------------------◇◇•°

Coming back into the League.

Wonderfully stated by "Richard Lewis", he created an entire page that defends xQc in all of the recent events (Link). xQc can apply for a repeal and easily get his ban removed. He has nothing to lose and a HELL of a lot to gain! If he really wants to get back into the League, it'll be easy to get back in. Not that I'll be discouraging him to do it, he's honestly what the Fuel needs right now.

There have been rumors that he's going to be in the Dallas Fuel or San Francisco Shock, but I'll bet he'll be placed back in the Fuel. After both Hastr0 and his teammates see what a joke that his banning was, they'll easily welcome him back with open arms. I'd bet money on that.

Maybe I'd bet 4000 dollars.

Now a message from Avaleen <3

Henlo~! I'm Sleeping's newest addition to his editor roster. His previous editor, Hopp, went away for a bit, so Sleepy picked me up. I'm going to be responding to all comments, messages, and PMs for him. He really doesn't use Amino much anymore, he'll write everything in Google Docs, which I edit, then he sends me the background and thumbnail to post. Practically my now ^~^

Oh and btw, his face reveal is out in his bio >~<

I wouldn't have given him another chance the first time. The fact that he was given so many additional chances, even with a punishment, kind of surprises me. Im glad he's out of the owl, he was nothing but drama.

Didmt chip(?) (spmeone on fuel) even say it wasnt exactly worth it having xwc actually play? They'd try and train just to have himself get banned twice.

Imo he's better off staying as a Twitch streamer if he wants to keep "being himself"

He didn't deserve the most recent ban. This isn't Sleeping talking, (The person talking doesn't like League and is trash🖒), but I can agree that that ban was utter garbage. He was going to change, and it seems that OWL just doesn't like him.

He was trying to change but he showed us time and time again that he couldn't, and thats what truly matters with a thing like this. If he yells "FAGGOT!" in the middle of a match you cant just so "oh hes trying to be better let it slide guys he didnt know what he was saying." because he clearly knew what he was saying and didn't control the impulse to say such a thing.

His first ban should have been enough to force him to reevaluate what he does on stream and how he reacts. The issue I see with xqc is he likely isnt going to change within that short time frame they had given him even with additional counseling when he's spent a few years now being encouraged to act the way he does by his audience, act out, get paid by young teens and adults who think its funny. Being throwin into OWL and Blizzards expections for it were too much too fast for him to acclimate to when he's never been put into that type of position.

I mean, its one thing when its an out burst once in a while, but xqc's entire persona was built on being a child, screaming in the mic, calling people names, and generally can be seen as toxic.

While the guy is a good player, it also ruins him when put into that tyoe of position.
