A Gratitude Ritual for the Waxing Moon

Burn a lavender sage smudging bundle (for tranquility of mind and a calm spirit) as you pray/meditate on what blessings have come to you thus far this year now that we are approaching midsummer.

Pick three herbs or flowers that represent gratitude/thankfulness/strength to you. I often choose peace lily leaves (for cheer in the midst of depression) and thyme (for courage and strength of will). Whatever grows in your own garden is so often key because these are plants from your own nurturing hands in communication with the Earth.

Surround yourself in a circle of crystals which aid in creating a clear and open mind. I personally use selenite, amethyst, and moon stones at this time.

Light a white candle in front of you.

Using the candle, burn each of the three herbs/flowers that you've chosen. As each plant burns, focus your prayer on the three things you have chosen to celebrate and be grateful for in your year thus far.

Meditate with joy and comion until the candle is burned out. Certainly embrace the life you have been given even though there are still things we need yet to grow and change in.

Find comfort in the rule of three: what we put out will manifest back threefold. Therefore, our gratitude is returned to us as we ever celebrate what the Moon has provided.

Blessed be :sparkles:
