This is a blog about me learning my house placements within my chart!

I would say I am pretty above average when it comes to most people's astrology knowledge. However, there is always more to learn! I took some time to read about all of the house meanings and my personal placements in them.

1: How I See the Houses

This might sound surprising, but I see the houses...as just that...houses. In each one lives a sign, each sign representing a different part of my person hood. Some live in the same house, like roommates, and many live alone. Each signs' house looks different.

For instance, my Aquarian mercury in the 9th house has a large library. She studies and reads there for hours. Whereas my Gemini Jupiter and Taurus Saturn are roommates in the 11th house, both valuing deep friendships. Their house has a large living room for community time.

I used this small project as a way to reflect on each of the houses and how the sign (myself) live in each of them.

3: Conclusions

I will spend many hours looking at and reflecting upon these placements, but at first glance, these are some major takeaways.

1. Braniac - I knew this already, but seeing it visible in my chart was affirming. Very education oriented, attracted to intellect in others, and enjoys academic pursuits

2. I think I can save the world: My abundant aquarian placements, especially in both Uranus and Neptune, AND in the 8th house, make me extremely globally minded and pursuant of change on a large scale.

3. Yap City - I am a chatty Cathy, that's for sure. Sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. When met with another communication dominant sign, sparks fly. However, I need to acknowledge that not everyone wants to talk to me, lol.

4. Eyes are too big for my stomach - my intense placements, especially Scorpio in Mars in 5th house, can sometimes mean I take on too much and/or slightly out of touch with reality of situations. Gotta practice grounding and slowness
