2024 was definitely a roller coaster, I went from thinking I'd be out of my parents house by August to having 2 cars break down completely in a matter of months. I got a job at a dog Kennel that I loved for a few reasons, I was the only one on shift so it was just me and the dogs, I was also allowed to bring my pup with me for free when I came in to work so he got lots of playing. I'm now gonna be substitute teaching since in the beginning of January the owner of the Kennel told us her husband got a job on the west coast so they are closing and moving...
My personal goals for 2025 are pretty simple, I need to,
1. Get a car
2. Save to move
3. Hopefully move out or have plans to move out
4. I also need to stop ignoring myself and have more me time
I want to journal and read more, my goal is to light my candle and pray to Hekate, doing a ritual or spell or leaving offerings each time but just once a week as I've been struggling with being persistent in my practice and worship to her.
I got a pendulum this Christmas so I wanna learn how to use that, I've done 1 or 2 simple yes or no questions but I think I need to get a stand for it, my hands are too shakey lol.
Anyways I wanna make 2025 the year I accomplish my goals and finally start my life with my fiance and daughter in our own place and finally feel comfortable and at peace there.

Hey sorry about your car breaking down and your job closing down! I want to work at a dog salon. Did you get hands on training or did you get a certificate? Life happens when we make plans. Don’t beat yourself up for not moving out yet. I had some struggles too but it will work out. Pendulums are fun! I have one for Lady Hekate, perhaps you can use yours to communicate to her. Hii! Thanks, yeah life just really put me through it last year but I'm ready for my comeback year! Also the dog Kennel i worked at was just a Kennel for boarding, daycare and some training I haven't had any experience cutting hair but I do with bathing dogs and clipping their nails, which I learned on the job, pretty much learned everything i know about dogs on the job. I'm not sure about dog salons though or how that works sorry hope that helped a little atleast!
