• Need some ideas to help get you started? Consider these prompts: •

•What spiritual or magical practices have you fallen out of that you’d like to revive? How will you reintroduce them into your life?

•What tools, altars, or sacred spaces in your practice could use a cleansing or refresh? Share your process.

•Perform a release ritual, this could be banishing stagnant energy, writing down and burning what you wish to let go of, or cleansing yourself with water, smoke, or earth. How does it feel?

•Spring is a time of fertility and new beginnings. What seeds (literal or metaphorical) are you planting for your practice or life?

•Choose a deity, spirit, or energy associated with growth and renewal. How might you honor or work with them this season?

•Create a charm, sigil, or spell focused on renewal. What intentions are you weaving into it?

•Nature is waking up, how can you connect with the land spirits, fae, or seasonal energies around you?

•If you could leave behind one habit, mindset, or energy as winter fades, what would it be? How will you symbolically or magically release it?

These prompts are just *ideas*! Feel free to branch out, get creative, and explore this topic from whatever angle you see fit!

Whenever I've had friends who practiced in secret, they'd have small containers for their altars and goodies. This inspired me to have a compact altar box, that I can take with me everywhere. Maybe figuring out what essentials you absolutely feel you need to practice your craft, and packing it securely in a small box easily accessible any time?

For mine, it's a small wooden box where my tarot, avatar cloth and a collection of crystals to act in place for the elements. I have a few symbolic pieces like the hound and moon for Hecate, and the cat for Freyja. It's certainly helped me stay active while moving around from state to state!

You don’t need to do anything big, it could be as simple as writing down what you want to let go of, then burn it and blow it to the wind or bury it if that makes sense to you

I totally understand how it can feel challenging to be in limbo while preparing for a move, especially when you’re longing to return to the craft. Packing things up can create a sense of distance, but it doesn’t have to mean a total break from your practice. Here are a few tips and ideas to help you stay connected to the craft during this transition:

1. Create a Travel-Altar or Sacred Space in Your Temporary Space

Even if you’ve packed everything up, you can create a small, temporary altar or sacred space using just a few key items. A candle, a small crystal, or even a piece of paper with an intention written on it can serve as your focus for the time being. It’s all about your intention, and even the smallest acts can carry magick. This will help keep you connected to the energy of your craft without needing all your tools and supplies.

2. Practice Simple Rituals

You don’t need elaborate tools to practice magick. Consider practicing simple rituals that rely on intention and mindfulness, like meditations, affirmations, or moon rituals. You can still work with the phases of the moon or incorporate your favorite crystals, herbs, or even the energy of the space you’re in.

3. Keep a Magickal Journal or Grimoire

If you haven’t already, keeping a journal could be a great way to stay connected. You can write about your experiences, dreams, or even magickal thoughts that come to you. Use this journal to plan how you’d like to reconnect with your practice once you’re settled. It’s a way to document your journey and keep your practice alive, even if it’s not fully active right now.

4. Focus on Energy Work

Energy work can be done anywhere. You don’t need tools to work with energy—you can practice grounding or visualization exercises to keep your connection with the craft alive. Focusing on your breath and intention can be incredibly powerful, and you can practice energy work in any environment.
