What is Green Witchcraft ?

Green Witchcraft is a path dedicated to nature and the ecosystems. This path involves getting in tune with plants, herbs, flowers, local life and nature. Green Witches often work in balancing and harmonizing their local community and the environment. Green Witchcraft has no ties to any nature based religion, Wicca for example, and is a practice.

How to Practice Green Witchcraft ?

There are many ways of practicing Green Witchcraft. I have collected a list of a few well known ways. To be a Green Witch you do not need to do all of these.

Can You be a Green Witch in the City ?

Yes ! You do not need a garden in your yard or a lot of greenery outside your home to be a Green Witch. Indoor plants/gardens work just as well. I made a post discussing how I practice Green Witchcraft in the city here.

Do You Need a ‘Green Thumb’ ?
─•✦•─
No you do not. A person with a ‘Green Thumb’ is considered having naturally talented or success with gardening/growing plants. While many Green Witches garden, it is not a requirement. You can be a Green Witch without growing any plants or herbs.
