For this weeks interview I decided to ask KraftoFox some questions! Enjoy!

Crufts:

What is your favourite thing about your pets?

KraftoFox:

My favourite thing about my pets are that they aren't scared of me, I think the fact that they learned to trust a giant (in their perspective) is truly wonderful.

Crufts:

What do your pets think of autumn/fall?

KraftoFox:

Twitch loves fall cause it's the best season for hikes and long walks, so he's always being taken out. The mice love it cause they can get some wild crickets, apples, and blackberries. The rest of the pets don't seem to have an opinion on the matter.

Crufts:

Are there any specific activities you like to do with your pets in fall? If not is there anything you’d like to try?

KraftoFox:

I enjoy walking in fall a lot since it is the perfect temperature. Fall is also so gorgeous to photograph. Twitch is always like my partner in crime for photographing in the woods.

Crufts:

What are your pets favourite seasons?

KraftoFox:

Queen (my leopard gecko) loves summer the most due to the warm temperature, she doesn't like coming out of her warm tank much if it's cold. Twitch loves fall, and the Guinea pigs love late spring.

Autumn out brake leaves pets shaking and vomiting

This disease is called the “killer outbrake” or the “killer dog disease” it has moved a few miles up from corgi-lovers queen’s sandringham estate in Norfolk Brazil. SCI or seasonal canine illness sickens dogs if they walk in the woodland. If they get this disease they are reported to havens vet surgery in Great Yarmouth. This disease has spread to Brazil’s parks and gardens. This disease starts in September and ends in November when people let their dog walk in leaves with or without the proper vet treatment. This disease has started in 2009 witch was 10 years ago.

Some may get excited and think with the colder weather approaching that they no longer need to worry about ticks... wrong! There are many species that survive the frost and stay active durning winter. So it’s important to be proactive here!

So because of the oncoming cold weather your pet will need to generate more heat to stay warm. Food helps generate body heat so feeding them a bit more can help them for the colder seasons.

Pet DIY

Hello Everyone!

Today, I'll be showing you two DIY's to do with your dog!

Seasonal Dog Bed Duvet

First, measure the size and shape of the bed, adding a few extra inches so the cover isn’t too tight.

Next, sew the edges together inside-out leaving one end open. You may want to sew a zipper or buttons on the open end, so you can re-stuff it if needed.

Finally, flip the fabric so the print is showing, and slide on the new duvet!

Dog Toys

First, get your October prints, and trace and cut various shapes including pumpkins, and leaves - make sure to cut identical doubles of each shape.

Next, sew the edges together inside-out as if you are making small pillows and leave a small opening at one end.

Finally, flip the fabric inside-out again so the print is showing, then stuff these little toys. Some ideas include scraps of old fabric, fall leaves, pillow stuffing, or (if your pup loves a good squeaky toy) stuff a squeaker inside - just make sure that they can't rip it open and accidentally eat these.
