Mega Steelix is now a fairly good tanks in OU. Why? It has 230 defense. That's enough to let it easily tank physical hits. Well, here's a great way to counter it, enjoy.

Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Solar Beam
So you need special attacks to do much of anything. Just like you wouldn't attack a Chansey with special moves and expect to do anything. So just spam Flamethrower. With the sun, you should be doing monstrous damage, and the only thing they can do is rest talk and hope for the best.

but why use it over scizor and gross lol. it'll be good in RU so wait till it goes there. (also any water mon/ground mon can easily handle steeix)

Just read LTL Flaaffy lol. And beating lower-level players doesn't make Steelix good lol. Aggron is far better, and Aggron still isn't good
