My Pokemon Team

Hello all, ChampionD on the scene. I thought this looked like a fun challenge so I decided to give it a go. Below is the team I'd construct if I were thrust into the Pokemon world. Many of these are my favorites.

Sceptile

I encountered It as a Treeko deep in Eterna Forest. Treeko escaped confinement by Pokemon Hunters who were delivering it and a number of other Pokemon to a buyer in Sinnoh. When the ship arrived, Treeko staged its escape. It's been fighting fierce battles against the hunters as they've pursued it. It entered Eterna Forest seeking shelter and collapsed. I find it unconscious while exploring the forest and begin treating its wounds. It's deeply untrusting at first, but after treating its wounds and battling with it against the hunters that enter the forest, it follows me to my house just outside the Forest and indicates it wants to stay with me. This is on the eve of me receiving a Pokemon from Professor Rowan. Instead of obtaining a Pokemon from Rowan, I decided that Treeko is the perfect Pokemon to start my journey with. From then on it serves as my ace. Sceptile is brave, tenacious, and a fierce battler. It can also Mega Evolve. Sceptile is everything I look for in a partner and ace; it's loyal, it's friendly, it's powerful and above all else we share a powerful partnership that comes from the deep friendship we share.

Garchomp

I met Garchomp as a Gabite. It was battling various Pokemon in a hollowed out crater near Wayward Cave. I found it after hearing about a powerful Pokemon near Wayward Cave that many trainers tried to catch but were unable to defeat. Gabite sent many trainers and their Pokemon away with bruises. I decided to visit the area, after witnessing Gabite beat numerous Pokemon and a trainer, I battled it. After a hard fought battle against it I defeated it with Grovyle, afterwards I asked if it would like to me, it agreed and I captured it. Garchomp is a very competitive Pokemon that respects strength. It's very loyal and though it has a hardened exterior, it cares very much for me and the whole team. Garchomp and Sceptile have a good natured competitive relationship with each other. They often spar together, and when not battling, they go exploring together.

Volcarona

I was gifted Volcarona as a Larvesta by an older, wandering orange haired trainer visiting Sinnoh. He mentioned that he was looking for a kind, comionate trainer to care for it and show it the world. Before long it evolved into Volcarona in a fierce impromptu battle just outside Veilstone City with the new Canalave Gym Leader, Paul. Volcarona is a laid back, calm Pokemon that often keeps to itself. It really enjoys scenic vistas and whenever we're near a particularly beautiful site, it often finds a secluded place to watch it. Its wings often glow golden in the present of a truly beautiful location. It and Metagross will sometimes watch the sunset together. Though calm, it's very adept at battling and responds most readily to a cool, calculated strategy.

Glaceon

I found Glaceon washed up on the banks of Lake Verity with no trainer in sight. I took it to a nearby Pokemon Center. After receiving medical care I offered to take it route 217. It agreed, but once we arrived, it decided to me instead. Glaceon is a feisty Pokemon that loves the thrill of a good battle. It is the first to rush head first into a brawl and will sometimes spar with Metagross.

Metagross

I caught Metagross while training at Iron Island. It was engaged in battle with an Aggron over a stretch of territory. After defeating Aggron it attacked me thinking I was threatening its land. I took it down with Garchomp and then caught it. Metagross is very protective and an altogether kind Pokemon unless it and those it cares about are being threatened. It spends time with Volcarona and when not watching the scenery with it, it relaxes with me and the rest of the team.

Gallade

I met Gallade on an island off the coast of Sinnoh. It had been abandoned there by its trainer some years ago. It's been defending itself from the many powerful wild Pokemon on the island. It's mostly lived alone, away from the other Pokemon on the island. After finding myself stranded on the island after deciding to explore it, Gallade led me safely through the thick forest to a small dock. Before I could get on, it challenged me to a battle. I defeated it using Volcarona and caught it. This Gallade is unique in that It concentrates more on its psychic powers. When it does engage in close quarters combat, it uses its psychic powers to enhance its physical strength. A very resourceful Pokemon due to how much it's had to fend for itself. Gallade is close to every team member and very quickly formed tight bonds with the team and myself. It encourages his teammates and is a natural born leader. It's a very versatile battler.
