pokemon mystery dungeon: Rise of Darkrai chapter 1: The shadows shall rise

this is a legacy sequel to the explorers of series and Darkrai disruption

please read those first before this

"Huh .... just Medicham?... that's... kinda strange for that to be your name but... eh"

"ok so you were dating a Darkrai this whole time... ugh-" "How should I have known!?"

"You've taken everything from me... so... I took control of your lover... I know how short tempted you are Sprout.... NOW YOU KNOW MY PAIN!"

There was once a Darkrai who fought for revenge.... attempting to turn someone's life into a living hell ... but failed... again and again.... and now.... they sit... in a gap between time itself....

Chapter 1

The shadows shall rise

{The gap in time}

"ugh .. that dreaded Chesnaught..." Darkrai looked around... seeing spike marks on the ground...

"It's too soon for farewell!" Sprout grabbed flare just as the portal closed.. leaving Darkrai stranded...

"they just left me here.... I should've known..." Darkrai punched the ground

"he keeps beating me... no matter what plan it is.... even after manipulating him to kill the one he loved most..." Darkrai sighed before looking up.. "I kept hearing things about a Leaf and Aqua... ugh... whoever they are... they could've been why my last plan failed... and that guild...."

Darkrai punched the floor again "that explains everything!"

Darkrai looked down before hearing a portal open... (heh... my time to strike...)

"ALRIGHT DARKRAI, YOU BETTER NOT HAVE BEEN CAUSING ANY TROUBLE HERE OR I SWEAR -" Palkia was immediately blinded by a bunch of sand

"GAH, SANDSTORM!-" Palkia fell on his back and was immediately thrown into a Wall...

"GREH- "Palkia got up and saw Darkrai head into the portal just as his vision cleared..

"DARKRAI!!"

Random \Starlight

Presents..

{Flooded Forest}

"Urf.. I get this feeling still that something is gonna happen to the guild.." Sprout sighed

"why are you still worried about that?... you left the guild in good hands.. if it wasn't for them.. who knows what could've happened to the world..." Pollo looked down a bit

"and besides.. it's been like... a year since you left leaf and Aqua in charge?.. if something were to happen... it would've happened long ago.." Hydro smiled

"hm.. yeah.. I guess I'm just getting myself worked up for no reason" Sprout shrugged as the trio pressed on

{Deep flooded Forest}

"hm.... never had to go this deep through this place..." Sprout looked around

"hm.. maybe this is the perfect time to.." Hydro blushed a bit before looking at Sprout blush a bit as well

"can you two not! we're after an outlaw and besides I don't think things would work out exactly as you both want.." Pollo sighed as he lit a stick on fire to create a torch. "now come on.. the reward is pretty hefty... " Pollo walked off, Sprout and hydro following behind.

soon the three hear a loud roar ahead "bingo..." Pollo ran off in the direction that the roar was heard.

"pollo!" Sprout and hydro ran after him

"he's getting too confident... isn't he..." the two bump into pollo, frozen in fear. "huh?... oh-" Sprout looked to see an alpha Charizard... staring down at them..

"well...." Sprout froze a bit.. "this is... interesting..."

the Charizard roared, lighting the room up in the process.

"hmph... well you know what they say.. the bigger they are... the harder.. they... fall!" Sprout rammed forward , knocking the Charizard down.

"hydro now!" Hydro nodded and ran around the Charizard, surrounding them in a water vortex

"pollo!" Sprout looked at pollo

"r-right-" Pollo used smokescreen around the vortex

"heheh" Sprout curled up and started to change rollout..

but as he was about to release... the vortex opened with a massive fireball heading towards sprout.

"erk!" Hydro immediately sprayed Sprout with hydro pump, shooting him through the fireball and right into Charizard.

"jeez. I didn't put that much power into it..." Sprout got up and dusted himself off.. noticing the Charizard run away.

"uh Sprout..." Pollo sighed

"hang on.." Sprout pulled out a geo pebble "I got this.." Sprout chucked the pebble

"and ...." Sprout chuckles as he heard a roar and a load thud..

"that... is the most cheap move I've ever seen..." pollo sighed

"but it works every time..." Sprout looked at him, smug

later

"ugh... I swear I feel like I'm gonna out.." Sprout yawns, struggling to stay away enough to get to his bed "hopefully tomorrow is a little more exciting...." Sprout laid on his hay bed before soon falling asleep...

*Russel*

*plop*

"h-huh?..." Sprout woke up to see hydro laying on top of him, comfortable. "wha... Hydro..." Sprout started to look confused.. "I'm not even that comfortable to lay on..."

Sprout sighed before seeing something glowing outside.."huh?..." Sprout slowly lifted hydro up and set her on his hay bed before walking outside.

"what is going on out there.." Sprout got closer to the window and almost froze in shock of what he saw....

the glowing silhouette... of a swampert ....

"n-no... it .. can't be ..." Sprout started shaking in disbelief...

"No.. Go... I'll be fine..."Kip coughed, slowing growing more and more pale... "but.." Sprout looked up at kip.. "GO!" Sprout froze but nodded and ran off.. but soon turned back.. unable to find kip in the snowstorm..."kip..." Sprout looked down before running off, tears in his eyes.

"it can't be..." Sprout walked outside.. seeing the figure.. still there... "k-kip?..." Sprout looked at the Ghost like swampert... seeing them slowly turn around.... freezing after seeing Sprout... "Sprout?..." the two immediately started to tear up.. "but.... how ..." Sprout was shaking... in complete disbelief.."heh... some things are better left.. unsaid..." Sprout sat down next to kip.. still in disbelief...

"so... I see you made it... even without me...heh... I knew you had it in ya..." Kip smiled "yeah.... I guess so ... I guess losing you.. is what pushed me to become better..." Sprout smiled.. "A lot has happened since then ... finding my team... restoring and running a guild for a bit .. saving the world more times than I can count..." Sprout sighed

"wait... restoring a guild?... where... was that guild?.." Kip looked at Sprout..

"pasa town.."

kip froze.."that's... the guild I was trained at ..." Sprout froze in shock as kip said this.. "then I.... " Sprout started to tear up a bit.. "I had no clue..."

Sprout looked up at the sunrise.... I guess some things... never leave you..." Sprout smiled before looking at kip .... seeing nothing there...."oh.." Sprout sighed before getting up and going back inside..
