Hey guys! Amino says I'm allowed to be back! And I'm bringing with me TWO new fighters to my hypothetical Super Smash Bros fighters vol. 3! But they're not two SEPARATE fighters, no! I'm going higher! THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S A TWO-IN-ONE MULTI-FIGHTER! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, OBAMA? You IDIOT! I MADE A TWO-IN-ONE! You get the unholy combination of Pyra/Mythra AND the Ice Climbers!

NOW ENJOY, BEFORE I COMBINE YOU, TOO!

Sableye Levels Up!

Mawile Switches In!

This Can't Be A Smash Bros Leak-Hey guys! Amino says I'm allowed to be back! And I'm bringing with me TWO new fighters to my

Moves:

Neutral Attack: Scratch/Bite. 2% (hit 1, Scratch), 2% (hit 2, Scratch), 0.5% (loop, Scratch), 5% (Bite)- Sableye delivers a Knife-hand strike, followed by a lateral slash, followed by a flurry of pokes with both hands. Mawile delivers a single large bite with its main mouth. For Sableye, the looping hits are an effective shield pressuring option, while hits 1&2 are fast, with minimal startup and endlag, making them useful for setting up combos or baiting out counters. For Mawile, this is its fastest attack option, coming out frame 3, while still having decent power and above-average range

F-tilt: Gem Cut/Tricky Chomp. 6.5%/8.5% (hit, Tricky Chomp), 1.25x (reflector, Tricky Chomp)- Sableye delivers an outward cut. Mawile spins, chomping forward with its main mouth. For Sableye, this attack launches at a downward diagonal angle, allowing it to combo into dash attack at low-mid percents. For Mawile, this attack suffers from above-average endlag and below-average damage relative to its other attacks, but its active reflector on frames 7-13 makes it a useful tool for shutting down ranged attacks

Up-tilt: Team Attack. 6% (Sableye)/8.5% (Mawile)- Jumps onto its partner's head, who springboards it into the air. Lengthy startup, but has decent vertical and horizontal range. Sableye travels farther than Mawile, but Mawile deals more damage and has slightly higher knockback. The partner is completely intangible for the duration of this move

Down-tilt: Roundabout. 7.5% (clean, Sableye), 4.5% (late, Sableye)/10% (clean, Mawile), 8% (late, Mawile)- Picks up the partner and swings them around in a Giant Swing. Has high startup, but above-average knockback and shield damage. Sableye's version sends the opponent at a higher angle, making it a better combo starter, especially when followed up with aerials

Dash attack: Sucker Punch. 3% (Sableye, hit 1), 5% (Sableye, hit 2)/7.5% (Mawile, hit 1), 5.5% (Mawile, hit 2)- A Superman punch from both fighters. One of the slowest but strongest dash attacks in the game when used by Mawile. When used by Sableye, it deals average damage, but is the fastest dash attack by far in the game, coming out on frame 2

F-smash: Ruby Throw/Mega Fang. 10.2% (Sableye)/15% (Mawile, tip), 12.2% (Mawile, mouth)- Sableye throws a red gemstone forward in a short arc, which travels further and faster the more the move is charged. Mawile slams down and snaps forward with its main mouth. When fully charged, Sableye's is the second-farthest-reaching F-smash in the game, second only to Mega Man, while dealing much more knockback. Mawhile's attack deals more damage, especially when sweetspotted, allowing it to KO from around 85% from center stage

Up-smash: Buddy Up. 16% (Sableye), 13.5% (Mawile)- The main fighter huddles down, while the buddy attacks above their head. When Sableye cowers, Mawile will quickly snap with its main mouth, covering a large area. When Mawile ducks, Sableye will throw a rock, which explodes above Mawile's head, dealing high knockback

Down-smash: Fairy Wind/Snarl. 12.4% (Sableye)/15% (Mawile)- When Sableye is selected, it will look confused while Mawile spews out a pink mist behind the both of them. When Mawile leads, it will look scared as Sableye roars maliciously, creating a small black-and-purple cloud. Fairy Wind's cloud has a larger hitbox and will slow opponents caught inside it, while Snarl deals more damage and briefly stuns the opponent

N-air: Cavern Copter. 11% (clean), 7% (late)- Mawile and Sableye hands and spin in a large circle. Despite noticeable startup lag for an aerial (frame 13), it has great combo potential, both as a starter and as a followup option, thanks to its clean hit dealing knockback at a downward angle, while its late hitbox lingering for a long time. It can also KO at high percents with its strong hit

F-air: Dark Kick/Steel Buster. 11% (Sableye, clean), 7% (Sableye, late)/14% (Mawile)- Sableye does a flying kick; this attack comes out frame 4, making it the fastest of Sableye's aerials and, in turn, very useful for breaking out of combos. Mawile does overhand punch, similarly to Mario's F-air; this attack has above-average startup and abysmal landing lag, but has a powerful downward spike hitbox, making it a good edgeguarding tool. Both attacks will autocancel on a short hop fast fall, but Sableye's is easily spammable due to its lower startup and landing lag and Sableye's greater jump height

B-air: Ghost Breaker/Fae Break. 10.8% (Sableye)/13.2% (Mawile, clean), 10% (Mawile, late)- Sableye turns around and delivers a delayed overhand punch behind itself, similarly to King K. Rool's B-air; this attack comes out frame 15, making it a bit slow, but possesses a powerful lateral spike hitbox. Mawile turns around and performs a flying kick; this attack comes out frame 7, making it Mawile's fastest aerial and an decent option for escaping combos due to the fighter's high aerial friction making it linger for a while

Up-air: Buddy Upper. 16% (Sableye), 13.5% (Mawile)- An aerial version of the fighter's Up-smash

D-air: Cave Dive. 14% (clean), 12% (late)- The main fighter is grabbed by the partner, who throws them downwards feet-first in a stall-then-fall with a sweetspot on the clean hit that meteor smashes opponents. This move has high landing lag, making it an unsafe landing option and preventing any followups out of its meteor smash when used onstage

Grab: Sableye tackles the opponent, before holding them in a Full Nelson

Pummel: Gang Up. 2%- While Sableye holds the opponent, Mawile unleashes a giant bite with its main head. A slow pummel, but one of the strongest

F-throw: Hair Toss. 5% (bite), 4% (throw)- Mawile clamps down with its main mouth, then throws them overhead

Back throw: Shin Tomoe Nage. 7%- Sableye performs a Tomoe Nage, a judo throw. A reliable KO throw that can KO middleweights from around 138% at the edge of Final Destination with good DI

Up throw: Snack Time. 2% (throw), 6% (bite)- Sableye throws the opponent in the air, where Mawile's main mouth bites, sending the opponent flying. A good KO throw, but excels as a combo starter when combined with Up-smash or Up-tilt

Down throw: Play Rough. 2% (slam), 4% (foot), 3% (throw)- Sableye slams the opponent onto the ground, before Mawile performs a double foot stomp, launching the opponent at a nearly horizontal angle backwards. This throw has a lengthy animation time, but combos well into Sableye B-air, making it a good 1-2 combo when used near the ledge

Floor attack (front): 7%- When selected, Sableye bites with oversized teeth. When selected, Mawile swipes at an opponent's legs with one arm

Floor attack (back): 7%- When Sableye is selected, Mawile will Donkey Kick. When Mawile is selected, Sableye will perform a leg sweep

Floor attack (trip): 6%- Both will swipe in front of themselves, before standing up

Ledge attack: 8% (Sableye), 9% (Mawile)- Sableye swipes with one claw, before climbing up. Alternatively, Mawile will Somersault onstage, before headbutting upwards

Neutral special: Power Gem/Psychic Fangs. 6% (hit 1, Sableye), 3.6% (hits 2-5, Sableye)/8.5% (uncharged, Mawile), 25% (fully charged, Mawile)- When selected, Sableye telekinetically lifts three blue rocks, then rapidly spins them around itself and Mawile to deal damage both in front and behind the two. When selected, Mawile assumes a readying stance and charges a massive bite. Sableye's attack pulls opponents in closer to the fighter and hits multiple times, making it a useful tool for discouraging close-quarters fighting. Mawile's attack deals heavy shield damage, even uncharged, and will break full shields when fully charged, but it can be safely perfectly shielded.

Side special: Chomp/Sprite Mist. 10% (uncharged, Sableye), 18% (fully charged, Sableye), 5% (heal, Sableye)/1.8% (loop)- When selected, Sableye leans forward and bites, healing itself if it catches a projectile in its teeth. When selected, Mawile turns around and exhales a stream of pink fire from its main mouth. Sableye's attack deals heavy knockback and can KO at around 138% on Final Destination when fully charged, but suffers from above-average startup and heavy endlag. Mawile's attack gradually loses strength and range the longer its used, but will slowly recharge when not in use. Mawile's attack can rack up notoriously high damage in a matter of seconds, but the flames at the very end of the stream do not cause flinching

Up special: Poké Throw- The main fighter retreats to its Pokéball, which is then thrown by the partner, who then disappears until the fighter emerges from its ball. The direction the ball is thrown can be adjusted up or down by quickly flicking the control stick, making this effective for traveling large horizontal or vertical distances quickly, but lengthy endlag leaves this punishable if read. Sableye travels farther, but Mawile's Pokéball is immune to windboxes

Down special: Baton - Sableye and Mawile swap places, tagging out with a high five. This attack functions similarly to Pyra/Mythra's Down special, but has far less startup and grants super armor for the first five frames after the move completes, in addition to the full intangibility featured for the full duration of the move

Final Smash: Twin Mega Evolution. 20% (Sableye), 34% (Mawile)- Both fighters Mega Evolve, before attacking one opponent within a short range. Mawile delivers a series of rapid-fire bite, while Sableye winds up to deliver one powerful blow with its giant crystal. Sableye's attack sends the opponent flying with incredible horizontal knockback

Extras:

On-screen appearance: Each pokemon walks onscreen from opposite sides, before giggling suspiciously

Up-taunt: Both pokemon begin fighting each other, disappearing briefly in a cloud of dust. Unlike most taunts, this taunt counts as an attack and will deal 1% damage to any opponent hit by it

Side taunt: A secret best friends handshake

Down taunt: Sableye disappears into the shadows, before popping up behind Mawile to scare it

Boxing Ring title: The Terrible Tag Team!

Additional fighter info:

•weight class: mid-lightweight

•ground speed: mid (Sableye), low-mid (Mawile)

•dash speed: mid-fast (Sableye), low-mid (Mawile)

•air speed: mid-low (Sableye, fall), mid (Sableye, lateral), mid (Mawile, fall), mid-fast (Mawile, lateral)

•jump height: mid (Sableye), low-mid (Mawile)

•Sableye can walljump

•Following the archetypal traits of a transforming character, Sableye is the "fast but weak" character with good mobility and frame data, while Mawile is the "strong but slow" character with stronger knockback and KO potential

I hope you guys enjoyed! If you didn't, it's probably because:

A) Amino won't let you look at this post, in which case uh-oh

B) You don't like how the pictures weren't placed correctly in this post. That one can't be helped, because the newest update HATES what I do

or C) You have gripes about this moveset and/or you have a better idea for a fighter. If that's the case, plead your case!

Also, let me know when I should start popping out some Gen 9 'mons! Should I do one next? Or in a month? Or when? And keep scrolling down, because I can't put the pictures where I want to... thanks, Amino. I'll see you next time!
