Sakura is a unique shiny Meowscarada that is currently living on the run due to her unusual appearance and rare status as a different colored shiny, being pink instead of the normal purple/dark green. She is constantly in danger of being killed or attacked by hunters and poachers of the like. Despite this, she has a strong will, and a calm personality.

Sakura grew up in a lab, and it was a perfect time for her, at least at the beginning. She was rigorously experimented on by scientists, which in turn made most of the green turn pink on her skin, and gave her the ability to teleport limited distances. She also has some DNA of the legendary Pokèmon, Giratina, and has the ability to use antimatter instead of actual magic. She also has the unique ability to glow very slightly in dark spaces on command. When she was just a Floragato, she managed to escape containment, and as such now has a bounty on her head, which is perfect for Pokèmon hunters. Also, despite Meowscarada being known as a magician type Pokèmon, Sakura cannot perform magic, as due to experimentation she actually hurts herself when she tries to perform even the simplest card trick.

Sakura is wild, yes, but she doesn’t trust humans as much as she does Pokemon. She tries her best not to be seen or captured by even the nicest trainer, and actually avoids human life altogether. She is usually seen in forests and mountains, but only for a fleeting moment before she moves on to the next area.

At some point in her life, Sakura was captured by a demonic cult, known only as the Sword of Arceus (how ironic), led by a Bisharp. Because of this, she was brutalized and tortured by the cult for many years, leading to the loss of one of her arms, and an eye. She wears a cloak to hide the lost arm, and a eyepatch as well. Due to the time spent in the cult’s clutches, she has grown to be apathetic, cold, and much more brutal in her fighting style, in contrast to her much more bubbly and happy personality. She is also much more protective of the people she cares about the most, and won’t even sleep to keep watch. Her antimatter powers have become much more amplified, and due to this she is more prone to lash out randomly. Due to this new personality shift and look, most common folk call her the Ghost of the Forest, as she is even more reclusive and shut-in.

Also due to this new personality shift, she may attack both humans and Pokemon on sight, due to not being able to trust anyone or anything now. Unless she already knew who you were, you may have a rough time trying to befriend her. Some of her old personality still shines through from time to time, but mostly she is a changed woman. Even her usual vibrant pink fur has gone more pale than ever.
