ˎˊ˗ Continuing on from where I last left off, after the video went up… Domino messaged me to talk things out. I won’t be really talking too much here, I mostly want to just show the screenshots of the conversation as the convo was actually relatively pleasant from the start. It’s all self explanatory. ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ Just for reference, when I talk about gaslighting I refer to Domino telling Robin who, at the time, didn’t accept their apology that they were going to do as Robin once threatened them… Slit their wrists and bleed out. Which Domino later says was “just a joke”. Not a very funny one. ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ Domino *did* do 3 & 4. Domino vented about Edgar in that 8,000 member community a couple of days before making up with him and I explained that many people wouldn’t trust Domino after they did something like that. Luckily Edgar did but may wouldn’t. As for 4, Domino went back to Robin after saying they were so traumatized by Robin. To apologize and make up? Why not just leave Robin alone? ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ “I do know him.” Why are you lying to me Domino? Then when I called them out on how it didn’t make sense they were just “using the word ‘close’ in the wrong way”. Please… ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ Also notice how Robin is only important to Domino because Domino finds him charming and thought he would protect them against someone? It’s all about how Robin made Domino feel good, and *that* is why Domino holds Robin as an important person. Not because they know him and like him as just a person, but because Robin makes Domino feel good. This strengthened my belief that Domino mostly cares about how only they feel here. Not how other people feel. ˎˊ˗

🫀卄 A BREAKTHR☹UGH ꒷꒦.

ˎˊ˗ So this is when I realized what the main issue is. At first I thought it was the unhealthy obsession with unconditional love (which I guess it partially is) but the main issue is HOW Domino tries to obtain it. A lot of it has to do with victimizing themselves and painting themselves as the always innocent party. Even when someone points a finger at them, they will always point a finger at someone else. They will gaslight to make people feel bad for them (even if the person was talking about their own issues with Domino), and so on. ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ The thing is that Domino is disappointing people *now* by overcomplicating things and making things weirder than they have to be. If Domino were to just cut out the love bombing and get to know people, I don’t think this would be an issue. ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ I’ll give credit where it’s due, Domino did start asking me questions from the prompt I gave them and the conversation turned pleasant, I even stated how proud I was that Domino asked some of the questions. ˎˊ˗

ˎˊ˗ The rest of the conversation was actually really nice, but at some point I ended up accidentally falling asleep without warning. I regret not telling Domino I felt tired and might out but I genuinely didn’t think I would. After that, things got bad… But I’ll show that in the next post. ˎˊ˗
