“The Kingdoms had a history for poaching them for being desirable servants due to their versatility and hardiness compared to the Goomba and Koopa, it’s no wonder they’re reclusive. Incredibly protective and reactive from what I’ve observed from afar.”

“Not even the Koopa Paratroopers can get close without risking losses in the Koopa Kingdom borders. The Warriors of the Tribes seem to be tougher than the scouts. I’m sure even Mario and his brother would have at least some trouble getting close. It’s unlikely the Shyguys would share any information they have, as it would jeopardize relations.”

“The few I’ve encountered are commonly Levels 10 through 20. Tough cookies. Thankfully I haven’t had to throw hands with any. Most just run away anyway.”

“When I have been forced to confront some Shygal scouts, they’re no slouches. I’d think they could stop a Chargin’ Chuck. Ouch… thinking about it, it still winds me ing it…”

“Speaking of their Scouts they seem to be the ones to go out and gather resources while their toughest remain at their settlements. I’ve never met one. But the ones I’ve met who have, commonly have either many scars, or a missing limb.”

“Thankfully I’ve been able to make a somewhat friendly acquaintance with one. Doesn’t seem to be a Scout or Warrior, but friendly enough. She can’t speak a lick of English, but can understand it. Then again, I know of only one or two Shygals that can even speak it. Regardless, I’ve learned enough to know they’re incredibly good at stealth attacks for the most part.”

“The one I know seems to be like the others, gathering and foraging in the woodlands like the others. However, when I’d regrettably tailed her, I’d found she lived alone in a giant mushroom home.”

“Seems some just tend to live alone at times. Just like how some seem to choose sides on what Kingdoms they serve. I know of one Paragal that assists the Mario Bros, but I’ll talk about them separately since they are even rarer.”
