Getting ready early is vital. Here are my tips!
Again, sorry for being inactive. I've had a lot on my plate with school, my depression, dentist appointments, etc.

1. Activities :football:
• Colleges look at more than grades. You should start volunteering in High School and some clubs. Don't overwhelm yourself! Try out some sports, and have fun! They want to see what else you've done, and if you don't have any clubs or sports that could impact thier choice. •
2. Choosing early. :woman: :computer:
• I've know for years I want to go to Harvard University. Search around and see what colleges you want. Choose a few and work hard for them. I have 3 I really want to go to, Harvard, Yale, or a college in DC. Don't set your heart on it (like I have done). Be ready so you have something in mind when time comes. •
3. Teacher Recommendations :man: :school:
• Act well in school! Getting tecaher recommendations is so helpful! You want to have some tecaher willing to write you a good recommendation! Try to do well in school so you won't struggle! •
4. Studying :books:
• Study with all your heart. Middle school impacts highschool, highschool impacts college and your whole school life impacts your life! •
5. Saving :money_with_wings: :heavy_dollar_sign: :currency_exchange:
• Most of the time your not going to get a full scholarship for your dream College/University. It's expensive! It can cost a lot of money and most people get a job to help pay it off! You could look into buying a stock and having a load of money by the time your in college, or start putting money aside. My parents will have to pay to tution bills for my sister and I, so they ahve already started saving money for it! •
6. Grades :pencil:
• Grades aren't that important! Yes study, do well, and try your best but if you don't do well don't beat yourself up! Try your best and be happy with what you got. You can always do extra credit assignments to bring up your grades. •
7. Application :page_with_curl:
• You need to have your application be on point. If they see grammer mistakes, they will throw it out. Be sure to have spell checked, grammer checked, and have a grammer expert check over your application! •
8. Explore Degree
• It's okay not to know what you want to get a job in! A lovely commenter made me aware that most colleges have an exploring degree. I did a little searching and found some info about this!
I'm assuming this helps you explore options and find a job your interested in. Definitely check this out if your unsure what to do! •
9. Job!
• What do you want to do? You should try a job you love. Don't do what your parents want only because they want it. If you do a job you love you'll enjoy it, get paid more, and won't ever go to work. :) Try exploring options early, but it's okay if you still don't know what you want. •

Would early collage be a good choice?
That really depends on you. If you feel your ready you could look into it. Other than that I would say stay where you are.

Ok, cause a early collage came
To the school. Their program seemed like it had the degree interests I was looking for but it wasn’t a normal high school experience. It sounded good because one of the one collage I’m thinking about going to accepts all the credits from the collage hosting the early collage.
Don't get a degree just to make your parents happy or if that's the degree and/or school they dreamt for themselves unless you really want you go there yourself! You will hate it or at least beat yourself up or question your life choices to that point.
^personal experience.
Also, if you want to a few student exchanges, seminars etc. in College, grades are really important because that's mostly what the Deans look at before they send you to represent the school.
Being active in school clubs is important too but acads is still more important so probably learn to manage your time first. Don't get peer pressure to do stuff your friends want to do.
I hope to get into JMU but i keep looking at my GPA and think i won’t get in cause it’s low due to French and Math. I do decent in school but two classes kill me. I have this year to fix my grades before I have to start applying but I’m just super nervous. Cause I don’t have any Volunteer hours cause I have no way to volunteer for I can’t drive and my dad is always at work. I mostly also just don’t have time with my homework load and marching band and other clubs. I’m just worried cause if I don’t fix my GPA I won’t get in.
You can do it Taylor, if you tell your teachers your grades are low due to math, and French being your weakest subjects. In that way, some students like you can focus on their work for other classes.
The most important is don't stress even though we all went there. But, also take fun seriously. Have everything with you, and focus on subject at a time. Also when you are down with your work, focus on French. The most important is taking breaks by having fun.
There are no rules and no one is going to force you. Have fun with yourself Taylor, and don't let your GPA affect your mental health. =) You can do it Taylor because I believe that you can achieve the grades you always want. As long you put in effort life, no matter what grade I get, take the re-test again because that shows you accept your flaws, and imperfections. :)
In dige che kossherie
Good luck with trying to get into those schools. I’ve heard that they don’t even accept people who make their recommended ACT Score.
  I know, I'll have to work really hard, but I'm up for it. Thanks!

I think some students are often confused with ACT, and SAT on how they are pronounced by using your outer-voice by speaking to yourself. But, actually I believe the most important about ACT/and SAT is take fun seriously, and break up your study sessions with breaks. In that way you can have a lot more time to relax, and take fun seriously doing the things you want. :)
