After finding that mysterious relic

in that tower and have found out the

Sage they encounter wasn’t the real

one, she disappeared.

”I don’t understand, is she trying to

distract us?” asked a puzzled Knuckles.

”Whatever it is, we have to find that

last emerald, something tells me she

doesn’t want us to gather all of them”

Sonic said, he was as puzzled as Knuckles,

worried too. While they were busy thinking

about Sage’s intentions, she was watching

them from afar.

After some events and a battle with an

ancient dragon, Super Sonic arrived at his

next stop: the Chaos Island. He just

ed the wall when another laser ray hit

him, returning him to his base shape, he

plunged and hit the ground for a second time,

all the emeralds scattered around the island

again. ”Oh well… time to find them all again”

Sonic said when he was standing up again,

looked up to the sky for a few seconds and

started running around all the island.

Some time later, the hedgehog manage to

find one of the emeralds and some

adjustable-wrench-shape relics. Not too far

from where he was, he saw a red sphere,

he went closer to observe carefully when

he realized his best friend was captive in that

trap. “Tails! I finally found you!” the hedgehog

exclaimed once he was right next to the sphere.

From his chest, all the relics were released

and helped the little yellow fox break free.

”Sonic! Thanks for saving me, well, thanks

for freeing me from this trap, rather…

I’m still feeling like I’m captive

somewhere else, is pretty weird” the

little one said while embracing himself

because of some shivers he was

feeling while clarifying that last thing.

"Don’t worry Tails, I promise I’ll help you

with that, ok?” Sonic replied while resting

his hands on his friend’s shoulders.

Tails relaxed bit by bit and smiled to his

friend. “Yes, it’s ok… If you need something

you know you can count on me” the little

yellow fox replied with a more cheerful

attitude. “Well, know that you mention it,

I’m looking for the Chaos Emeralds, I’ve

already have one. Can you track down

the other six for me? I want to search all

the girls left, I feel they are on this island.

The hedgehog asked for help to his

two-tailed friend, while he gave him the

emerald he already had. “Here, I hope this

helps you, and I don’t want you to get

confused if you use a tracker” he joked

around a little.

"Oh, believe me, that will be really easy

for me, I will get all the emeralds before

you find out” the yellow one said with a

friendly tone, accepting the emerald Sonic

had. “Well, I think I have some tools

around here that may help me find what

you’re looking for” Tails said before leaving

the hedgehog. “Then it’s time for the search”

On the other hand, Sonic got himself ready

to start his searching for the friends he still

had to find and, who knows, maybe he could

save them like the rest.

mountain, as he approached it he realized

"Sonic! Sonic!" After a long search,

Tails came flying in the distance with a radar

front of Sonic. “Honestly, I expected it,

when I was looking for the emeralds in both

islands where I was before, that girl always
