Hello everyone! Today I will be making a do’s and don’t’s for a realistic roleplay. Keep in mind that I’m not the most experienced, so you can make modifications as you go!
WRONG: :x:
tody i got up to visit my horse, pinapple. she is realy sweat hosey. we gone on a long rid to morland and it was realy fun.
RIGHT: :white_check_mark:
I wake up to the refreshing light fog that covers the ground of Mistfall. I twisted back in forth, trying to get the sun out of my eyes before finally getting up and slipping on my brand new rising clothes. Today was the day me and Pineapple went for a long ride to Moorland! She behaved extremely well and it was a fun and fulfilling experience.
Step 1:
Create a plot
Who is the character? Are they a girl or boy? What was their past like? Rich, or poor? This helps the reader understand what is going on, and sometimes you can sprinkle it in the storyline. (Such as: “I got my first horse when I was 13”.)
Step 2: (OPTIONAL)
Planning
When doing a story, you want to plan out what you want to write. Although, some authors just come up with ideas from the blue. But if you aren’t that kind of person, I highly suggest doing this.
Step 3:
Begin writing rough draft
Next you want to start writing a rough first draft. This does NOT have to be perfect! Though try to fix grammar errors and word punctuation for easier experience on Step 4-5.
Step 4:
Modifying draft
Fix small errors such as miss-spellings, wrong word punctuation, etc. You can also change a boring word, such as bad, into something more exciting, such as horrible.
Step 5:
Photos
Add photos to give the viewer an idea of what’s going on inside your roleplay, and how they can relate putting themselves into the character’s shoes.
And that’s it! If you’d like, you can link your story in the comments. Hope it helped!
