8th grade last semester finals has finished !!! today was the last day and probably one of the toughest days out of the 2 weeks of finals. Good thing is that I’m pretty confident with my Humanities exams. It went pretty good and I didn’t have much concerns with the answers.

At the same day today, was my Arts and Crafts theory finals as well. So two exams for the last day, working my ass off the previous day and night. I honestly didn’t even study for my Arts and Crafts finals but I do hope my logical brain can achieve the goals set.

I’ve also ed some of the teachers and asked them wether I’ll need a re-test, and alhamdulillah so far they all said no need !!! i am still waiting for more of the details for my grades, but overall… I think I’m doing okay !

Currently resting my brain, my heart, my soul and body from all the exams I’ve done. It’s only 7:13 pm and my eyes are already tired, I might even get some sleep a lot earlier than usual…

Okay, lemme tell you what happened yesterday. Apparently yesterday was a national holiday, I didn’t have any classes or plans for that very day. So, therefore I decided to enjoy the free time I probably deserved.

A normal morning, a normal afternoon ed by. Didn’t even realise how much time I’ve spent on enjoying my one day holiday.

Then realisation hits.

Although it was a holiday for school, my extra math classes doesn’t know these types of holidays. Everyday I need to do a homework, wether it was a holiday or not, they just give you.

Look, I’m only 14, and I’m already studying maths that are high class. My brain is a normal 8th grader brain. I know, my class calls me the genius for a reason, but behind all that success I’ve reached, behind all the straight A’s that I’ve gotten, behind all my happy, bright, clumsy and bubbly personality, I also have hardships. I don’t even think anyone understands that.

The feeling to be called ‘smart’ and ‘genius’ could sound like an amazing thing, but to be called those, I feel like I’m in a totally different world than what my friends are in.

I want to be treated like normal people, I know I’m smart, but don’t just view me as one. I have other personalities too.

It’s only been a few days since the school was reported to have gatherings in the lockdown. I was there, I had to, I had no choice actually. The teachers told us to come to school for an important briefing of a regional tournament.

I really don’t know what to do other than just stay still, listen to my heart. I already know I’m doing what’s right, and here I am. Being blamed wrong when I am saying the right things. What happened next is that, I got blamed from my own close friends.

I’ve had trust issues with people but my close friends. Here I am, staying completely shut while the others in the team are arguing on how we can gather to meet up for recording our song for the tournament.

I already know and told them that we can’t gather at school because of the neighbours watching our every step when we enter the school zone. Yet again, they are that flunking stubborn to think that it’s okay to meet at school, again.

I’m the oldest out of the whole team, I always stayed shut of what they think it’s not right. Being the oldest in the class was never fun. I can’t even express what I want to say to them. That’s it, I think I found my job in class. I can stay silent when the others are arguing about a trivial matter everyone knows about.
