Hey everyone! I’ve been planning the new changes around here so that’s why I haven’t update anything yet, a quick update is that I’m changing from Gisellec to Coffee PDF, stay tuned for the info I’ll be giving soon.

So, this topic a bit sensitive and I wanted to talk about it because it happened to me recently and it was really hard being productive during that time.

My major tip is to really give yourself time to heal and breath! You don’t want the negative to take part of the studying process or anything you need to do because it will create a bad feeling when you need to do that stuff again.

In case you really need to study or get stuff done (because of deadlines) here are some tips to getting it along in the best way possible.

1.       Try some meditation before starting:

Meditation is an awesome way to calm yourself and not focus on the stuff you’re thinking because meditation is about focusing on your breath, and calming (and healing) you from the inside.

2.       Drink tea:

I’m a huge fan of coffee but this will only increase your level of sugar and it can be a bit stressful later. Tea is a better option when you’re studying, my favorite teas are green tea and red tea J ginseng tea is awesome for studying and focusing.

3.       Create a -to-do list-:

to start by the most difficult or largest ones but try to not overwork yourself. “One task at the time”.

4.       Get into the productive mood:

I made a post on how to get things done when you don’t want to (it’s a bit similar to this post) but there I explain how to get into the productive mood by inspiring yourself to study. Check it out through my previous posts!

5.       Write or talk with your friends:

This is the best therapeutic way to cope emotional phases, just write everything down and then burn it (I always do that, lol) or just talk with your friends. Having someone to hear you or read you is a great way to get everything out of your chest! You might get good advice that might help you overcome this phase!

6.       Nothing lasts forever:

this is a life mantra, neither good times nor bad times last forever, so it’s not the end of the world!! You have the power to decide if is this a good or bad day. I know many things in life can bring us down but don’t worry, just take your time to heal and rediscover yourself, “trying to ignore it and just move on” never works… Sometimes it does but you might face this problem again in the near future so is better for you to resolve anything you’re going through now so it won’t get more difficult in the future

7.       Love yourself:

Take this time of healing to spoil yourself and breath. Your mental health is way more important than perfect grades.

8.       EXTRA TIP – Workout:

working out is also an awesome way to cope with emotional phases!! Because it will let the negative energy to move out from your body, try it sometime I promise it will help and you’re helping your body and mind at the same time.
