hey there! this is just a quick run through of notes on biology.
the book I have in this course is BIOS1 - Elämä ja evoluutio, which translates to Life and evolution, which is what my notes are about.
I've done them both from the book, and then from the class where the teacher showed us his Power Point slides (a bit classic, love it)

this would be just a short description of the process in biological studies and the alike

these are about the common things lifeforms share, such as being made put of carbon and water amongst other things, and things which make it harder for life to manifest (high or low pressure, lack of warmth, and so on)

here we have the levels we look at life and different species at, f.e the species is canis lupus, wolf, and it's part of the dog family and so forth, or however that translates again, pardon me. also, separation between viruses and organisms

we have photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and the process which energy roughly goes through to get here into living beings (through photosynthesis from sun or through chemosynthesis from substances)

we have DNA, chromosomes, enzymed, and cellular division

reproductions - sexual and asexual reproduction (done by plants, and such), sex cells, and parthenogenesis

and finally, means of evolution and genetics, mutations, and natural selection!
thanks for reading this far, hope you have a pleasant day :cherry_blossom:
