I find that studying as a group can be very beneficial if done right. I like to study surrounded by others and then if someone has a doubt we can all help out each other. It makes it easier to understand some things that we can't understand in class or on our notes sometimes, and if it starts to confuse you you can just go on with your study and leave them to talk about their doubts
