:two_hearts: Pencil case + note taking tips :two_hearts:

I bring two cases to school. One is a cased set of Pilot G-Tec-C4 pens. They’re gel pens and I have a set of 5 colors: black, green, red, blue and violet.

I like to color code my notes.

Our professors give us PowerPoint slides ahead of time. I like to print them and make notes on the side. I’ll use black for notes I write before lecture class. I use green during lecture. If I have time, I’ll write after lecture notes in blue or violet and I’ll use red if I need to correct something.

When I review my notes before exams, I’ll know what my professor said about the topics because they’re in green.

My other pencil case is a cat.

It transforms into an upright pen holder!

In it, I have my highlighters, a multipen, more GTecC4s (Teal, green and brown) a mechanical pencil and an eraser.

I also like to color code using highlighters.

Here I have major topics (disease names) in orange, what makes it a problem in pink and treatment/management in yellow.

This helps me when I’m reviewing for exams later on.

When I’m taking practice tests and I need to find the symptoms of a disease, I’ll look for the topic in orange highlights and then pink highlighted info underneath it. If the question is about a treatment, I’ll look for the topic in orange again, and the treatment in yellow!

Oh, yes.

To reduce neck fatigue, I have a book stand.

Also, an adjustable lamp with cool and warm lights.

This system has worked well for me in nursing school.
