i can’t speak on gcse’s, but i can for the SAT and ACT! in the US, they’re not required to graduate high school. they’re college entrance exams, so if you’re planning on going to university, they’re pretty much necessary to take
The SAT and ACT are college entrance exams that are optional. You don't have to take them unless you're going to college.
Are you from the US? If so where because where I live it’s mandatory to take the ACT in order to even graduate high school.

I am in the U.S. and I don't say my state. Schools and states can make it mandatory but federally it cannot be. It also depends on what your state has to follow when it comes to standardized testing for the district/state.

Ahh. Okay.
While SAT is i think an exam you can take for you to go to the college. Its like 'a ticket' but it still depends on your SAT mark, some universities have different minimal SAT mark to be accepted there
