I would begin to do your work, with no breaks. If you take breaks, you will just procrastinate and you will not get your work done. If you have more than five hours of work, take breaks for sure.
Yo so I’m pretty bad with advice so like just a fair warning:
Honestly what helps me with procrastination a lot is like thinking about previous times I’ve put off work and how it has worked out for me. Usually I regret it in the end because my work will drop in quality, and I’ll end up getting a poorer grade than anticipated. Usually with me I’ve noticed a lot that I’ll stress out about the assignment for a while and still play on my phone or watch tv to try and forget it. Honestly, finishing up an assignment takes the weight of all of that stress and anxiety off of me before it even starts to occur. Just realizing that sitting down and playing on your phone isn’t going to make you feel better, and just getting up and doing the assignment makes me feel so much better about myself. Just put on some study music, move your phone somewhere else in your room, and just get started on it. You’ll have more time to do the things you like, and less time stressing out about your problem. Also what’s really cool is that if you’ve realized later that you’ve forgotten to do something vital in your assignment, or if you find that you want to revise something, you have more time to make changes. Make sure to take small breaks in between, but don’t let time fly by because you might start procrastinating again! Also, prepare food, snacks, and drinks beforehand so you won’t have to get up to grab them; which can be pretty annoying and truly wastes a lot of time :joy: . Lol good luck and I hope whatever you’re working on goes well.
